As it is best to run LEDs on 12v dc as this achieves optimum results with regards to lumen output and life expectancy, we have added a 6w LED Driver so you can switch over your halogen transformer for the LED Driver. LED Driver easy to wire in (I suggest you use cable with solid wires not the stranded kind) the light from the bulbs is indeed cool white without heat .
