Warm but Convenient – Great for On-the-Go Charging
Nice slim power bank that snaps on easily and charges fast. Super convenient at work, but it gets warm and usually stops around 80%. Still solid for quick boosts!

This 5 GB hard drive works great! It has fast read and write speeds, and it comes in a nice, durable case. Easy to use, large storage capacity. I’m very happy with it and have no hesitation in recommending it to others.

External drive so easy to setup
Originally I was going to purchase this item on the Apple Store as it told me that it was compatible with my Mac Mini but they were out of stock. However it was available on Amazon so I ordered it and it arrived a day earlier than expected. I couldn’t believe how easy it was to set up. Once connected via the thunderbolt cable provided I turned on the Mac and it automatically recognised the new drive and also started Time Machine backup utility without me having to take any action myself. I am given to understand that for Windows users it is necessary to reformat the drive to make it usable. The drive does come with a usb cable as well as the thunderbolt cable for connecting to non apple devices.

Scam, buyer beware
Stopped working after a month, I just put it away and forgot about it, today I tested again and still not working. Decided to open it up and see what's going on and found it's an internal HDD for use inside a PC and should not be sealed in a unit. This absolutely should not be bought or used. Just purchased a SanDisk SD external hard drive and will not trust a 3rd party claim again. Scammed. Overpriced junk

An OK drive for the money now.
Good drive. Definitely slower than my Samsung Thunderbolt 3 drive for some reason. As a working drive for video this is not so great. But, for what it is I would definitely recommend for the price now. For something better for video look at Thunderbolt 4.

Pain to set up, Well Built, £204 pounds 6TB expensive Lets hope it's as good as it looks
I have read some negative reviews stating it's not plug-and-play. It's true, it was a bit of a pain to set up, but the unit is very robust, and it was quickly working away, copying 3.5TB from another drive that was not working well, hence this purchase. Not sure how long it will last, time will tell. The 5-year-old 5 TB Seagate didn't.

Worth the money
I love this drive comes with usb3 and usb2 cables solid and robust.

Frequently disconnects
The drive itself is well built and sturdy. Copying, backing up and access seem to be quick through the USB C port. Major problem is that it frequently disconnects without any warning, losing any data/work in the process. Occasionally I have opened the drive to find most of the folders missing, and a disconnect/reboot brings them back - very annoying. Used to expect this back in the day of 20gb hard drives - but not in this day and age. I won't be buying another G-Drive - very disappointed.

Purchased this November of this year. Plugged it into my PC via the USB-C connector and nothing. It gave a white light for power then turned to 3 quick flashes, solid white, then repeated. Got a dud on delivery. Very disappointed in such an item.
