I gave 3 stars because the company did get the flowers delivered in time for my wife's 76th birthday, and the packaging was good, and the flowers initially looked beautiful and perfect, BUT the look on my wife's face this morning when she saw how quickly the condition of the flowers changed would have rated only a one. My beautiful wife and I have been married over 30 years, and flowers are one way I try to show her how special she is. She takes care of them as sellers recommend, and enjoys and shows them off for days on end. Something went wrong this time, we think maybe they got frozen? We live in Colorado and the evening before they were delivered was in the single digits. The flowers did not sit outside as I happened to be out front when FedEx arrived and the driver handed me the box directly. and I presented them to my wife within minutes after arrival. I am sure Benchmark could not have known this would happen. I always order Benchmark flowers and have been very pleased in the past... Unfortunately, today when I received the flowers they were withered..

I have purchased these flowers several times for many occasions - anniversaries, birthdays, sympathy and Mother’s Day. There are always a hit! The packaging is done well and the flowers will bloom slowly allowing the recipient to enjoy them for some time. The delivery is usually very quick and dependable.

The bouquet was pretty, with lots of flowers but the roses were disappointing - appeared wilted and failed to open after a day or two. Also disappointing was the inability to include a note with the bouquet. It said "no gift option" when placing the order so I had to send them without the recipient knowing they came from me - and without the heartfelt note I would have liked to. have included with it.
