EDSRDPLT Anchor Trolley Kit

This was easy to install on my kayak and allows me to anchor the boat in any position which is extremely handy.

I ordered this kit with high hopes to upgrade my kayak, and Its a really great set, it includes everything you would need to install, except directions. For me, this kit would have been a really incredible upgrade for my kayak, but I needed to figure out how to install it, which was off putting. The item listing doesn't include a video at all either that might have been helpful. So, am forced to search YouTube for a video to help me figure out how to install, which for someone like myself, with limited patience, is frustrating to have to do. The parts I would recommend to those with more patience than myself, especially if you are handy and have installed a similar kit. If you are like me, try and find a video prior to purchasing, as this way, at least you will know how to install it with less frustration.

Paracord was tethered and the anchor lock was cracked.

Perfect trolling kit, the installation was very simple specially if you have a rivet tool. If not you will need access to the haul so you can screw it from the inside. The kit is a complete set and a great addition to your kayak.

I like this anchor trolley and think it will work nicely. And it looks good. But… I had to knock the rating down one point for not including instructions. I have never installed or used one before, so needed instructions to make sure I got it right. Thank goodness for YouTube, but unfortunately, amazon doesn’t allow links to the video I used. Anyway, it was straightforward after seeing someone else describe the process and where the parts should go.And speaking of parts, there were a whole lot of extra ones without explanation - no instructions. Photo included. Most of them were probably intended for installing the trolley on a canoe or other craft with access to bolt through to the inside. I have a roto molded kayak, so just used the sheet metal screws provided. But why were there two sizes? See photo. Well, I save stuff like that so maybe I will have a use for the bolts and nuts someday.🙂I added some photos of the completed installation that should show relationships between the parts well enough for you to figure out where to mount things.
