Ray Cook Golf M1 Chipper 35"

I've used this club in about a dozen rounds now. Over the past four or five rounds it's saved me at least two strokes a side on each occasion. It's taken a few rounds on the course and about half a dozen times at the practice facility to get comfortable with it and figure out how much to swing at different distances from the green.I'm terrible with a wedge from about 90 yards and in, and around the green from anything inside 10 yards. Just can't consistently strike the ball; I have trouble keeping my wrists, arms and body in sync when they need to be from longer distances and seem to have hands of stone when chipping green side. That's all changed with this club. Because of its weighting and loft, it's a very simple club to swing and is extremely versatile. Have even had success using it to chip out of green side bunkers when the ball is close to the lip and have also found it reliable to use when chipping out to the fairway when a second shot is affected by a tree, bush or very deep rough.I'm now very comfortable around the green and am even finding it more effective, for me, than a wedge from about 80 yards. I'm getting the ball in good positions around and on the green to give myself legitimate shots at par. I feel more confident with it each time out.I can see this saving me at least four strokes aside as I get more and more comfortable using it in upcoming rounds. Bottom line: It gives me more confidence and has improved my overall enjoyment of the game!

Chipper was great, however the head broke off on first use, obviously defective. Received a refund. Really liked the club and will reorder.

This club make the bump and run a little easier. My first round I chipped in twice. Nice quality club , well worth the money to drop strokes off my game.

Received the first chipper and the head snapped off during my second round. Contacted the seller and they were great; send them a picture and they sent me a new Ray Cook chipper. The new chipper didn't make it through the first round of golf. It appears there is a manufacturing or process problem and prior reviews all looked good. I found 3 other product reviews for this chipper with the same problem, all were dated within the month of May '19. I contacted the seller again and they were stellar, providing a full refund. I have since purchased a different brand chipper and so far so good.

I am able to chop now. Before neither of us could. Winning regular now.

I need more practice in order to be more proficient. I am sure it is operator error and not chipper error. Cheers

Bought for my wife , first hit the head came flying off . Broke in two . Cheap garbage

Wish I had read all the reviews. Worked well for two rounds of golf and the in normal play the head came flying off. Had to get a refund and got another model for a different manufacturer.
