I used this with curved upholstery needles to fix my sofa. Worked really well.

Bought this for sewing, mending and crafting when I have trouble getting needle through thick, dense or very tough fabrics like leather, heavy wt denim, hat bands etc. I do use a thimble, but had trouble pulling needle thru. Remembered occasionally using a needle driver to suture at work and thought “what the heck look on Amazon”. Bingo! Got exactly what I need and it was delivered quickly. Excellent grip on even the small needles!!

As a retired surgeon, I’ve always love suturing forceps for hook extraction when fishing. Distressed when I lost mine in a fall on my last fishing excursion, I found them on Amazon and they work great, just like my trusted old pair.

They look good and legit, but sadly they are not. The locking teeth slip so it pops open throughout the suturing process. Tried to get them services to see if they could be salvaged, but cheaper to just rebuy a different brand. Bummer.
