I was back-n- forth for weeks trying to decide between this portable toilet and the OGO composting toilet. I decided on this one because a YouTube reviewer said the bedding for his composting toilet had insect larva that hatched and flew all over the inside of his van. I have sewer hook-up so, starting off with this and may graduate to a composting toilet once I figure out how to properly hot compost. This little toilet + Happy Camper, works great for my remote office shed. I’m able to work remotely on my land for over a week and there is no smell. Emptying the black tank into my RV hookup is also easy. It’s heavy for me so I empty when it’s half full (single person x 5 days). I rinse the bowl with gray water so the top water tank last awhile. So far it works great and I’m a happy camper with this setup.

I bought this potty 2 years ago and have used it for camping multiple times now. It’s great, the height is perfect and I’m 250 lbs and it feels incredibly sturdy. I used it for a week (only #1, there are pit toilets for #2) but you could definitely use it for both. Make sure you use RV/Boat toilet paper if you’re going to flush tp. I bought a little foot pedal trash can to avoid flushing tp as it’s just easier to clean without the broken up tp. My camping set up has this inside my tent at the foot of my bed. I never notice a smell. Make sure you have the deodorizer for potties of course. It’s easy to clean at the pump station and easy to handle. I would recommend this potty to anyone needing something for their tent.

I bought this camping toilet for my off grid setup as a replacement for my bucket and pellet system. I will continue to use the old, but my children really love being able to flush. It feels like a regular toilet except for one thing; it sits very low. If you're shorter, that may not be a problem. Also, sitting on the bowl part feels as if you're almost sitting inside the toilet and you could find your butt getting a little wet. To remedy this, I took an old bedside toilet for the elderly, removed the pan from it, adjusted the height of the legs and it fit perfectly over the camping toilet! Problem solved...now my children have something that flushes and they feel at home again. I've used it and I must say it is nice and gets the job done. I haven't had any issues with odors, but I did purchase those odor eliminating pods for the holding tank so I'm sure that's why. It's worth having, especially if you have as many plumbing issues as we do.

Took this camping. Worked great. A little heavy when full of water. Would maybe recommend a bathroom tent to use it outside sleeping tent.

Portable toilet arrived safely though, the box was beat up pretty good. Set up and use was pretty simple. No leaks or odors. It was a hit this past weekend for a family gathering. This portable toilet is perfect for camping. This toilet sets up high enough that it feels like a house toilet. Easy to use and clean. Would definitely recommend this product.

Closest thing you can get to a real bathroom when a real one is not available. Great for a barn or outbuildings. We own 2 and use them out on the homestead.

This has been great. In the middle of building a campervan, but supplementing in camping gear as I go until the build reaches each stage as my business can't wait. This is a sturdy little unit with lots of storage. Cleans well and is easy to disassemble and clean. A word of warning though... Open the slide valve very slowly and keep your face clear when doing so. Pressure can build up due to temperature change and the high quality seal. If you're smart, you'll only make this mistake once. If you're me, twice. I add some dish soap to the waist storage tank after each cleaning, NOT the upper flush tank. This has cut the smell way down. Great buy over all.
