I bought my first one of these chairs last year. I use my computer chairs heavily - I work remotely and I use them most of the day on a daily basis. Previous chairs have had problems with the mock leather delaminating, with inadequate support based on foam alone, or with general build problems. This one had fabric covering throughout, was solidly constructed with a heavy steel frame, and was comfortable even after a long day sitting in it. While it may not have all of the ergonomic adjustments (no seat tilt, for instance), it rivals the much more expensive seats provided at the main office for comfort and usability. It is actually better supported, with coil springs in the seat area; it reclines further and it has a footrest - which they don't have. It is height adjustable, like most. It also has included attachable foam lumbar and neck supports (with 5V vibration built into the lumbar one, if wanted). They do actually make long sessions a lot less uncomfortable. My chair is the oversized version, which is just about perfect size and seat height for my 6' 200-pound frame, though it would take a lot bigger user. That first chair sold me on this brand and its products. I ordered this second chair of the same type recently for a second computer setup used for non-work purposes. It arrived quickly, well packed and with the same simple instructions. It assembled easily until I hit a glitch near the end. During manufacture, one of the arm attachment threads on the seat back was blocked by an impacted broken tool, and this was missed in QC. Support responded promptly, and after some discussion, they opted to refund rather than replace the seat back part. In the process of that exchange, I got to experience the internal build - I had previously not noticed that these seats have zippers that allow exposure to the internal foam and framework. These chairs are solidly built! That was a rare and unusual problem, and one I'd not expect others to experience. It won't stop me looking to replacing it with another of the same type.

I ordered this chair after my Respawn chair of 6 years started to deteriorate. Upon doing research, many said that Dowinx was a great brand and specifically that the ergonomic chair was comfortable, long-lasting, and a decent price. Firstly, the chair game much faster than expected which was a huge bonus. Living in an age of prime shipping I have become rather impatient and it showed up in 2 days. Next, the assembly instructions were extremely clear and I was able to put 95% of it together myself (only needing help for placing the back of the chair). My only quarrel is that the seat cushion is smaller than I expected. I am 5'3" and about 180 lbs and as someone who likes to sit criss-cross, it is possible to but it isnt as comfortable as it was in my respawn chair. I can sit normally very comfortably but I do feel restricted trying to sit any other way (which when I game I tend to move around a lot). The back of the chair is thinner than I was expecting, however this isnt necessarily a bad thing. The pillows sit well on the chair and complement my back. The back being smaller does make the chair significantly lighter which is a bonus to me. Overall, I would recommend this chair for someone who is smaller set and is on a budget. The overall quality of the chair is spectacular, the base of the chair is metal and the fabric feels extremely durable. So far, I am a big fan. The only reason I likely won't repurchase or purchase one for my partner is because of the size being smaller than I expected.

Can’t complain about $150 chair that’s this decent, especially when basic office chairs cost that much nowadays. Is it super sturdy? Not necessarily, by which I mean I’m sure overtime it will have its flaws, it was just fine out of the box. It’s pretty dang comfortable all around, the vibrating lumbar pillow is nice. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is DO NOT flip this thing into Wall-e mode and lean all the way back. You will topple over. Put the footrest out first then recline all the way

I spend a lot of time at my desk, often getting lost in gaming sessions that can easily stretch for 4 or even more hours. For years, I thought getting up stiff, with a sore back and numb legs, was just the price you paid. I was wrong. This Dowinx chair has been an absolute game-changer for my comfort. Most gaming chairs I've tried use a solid block of foam that either feels like a rock or flattens into a useless pancake after a few months. This chair feels like you're sitting on a high-quality, supportive mattress. There are no painful pressure points, you never feel the hard base underneath, and even after an all-day session, it feels just as supportive as when I first sat down. This cloth fabric is breathable, soft, and stays comfortable for hours on end. No more peeling myself off the chair. The Footrest: I thought it would be a gimmick, but being able to kick my feet up between matches or while watching a long cutscene makes a massive difference in preventing leg fatigue. The Lumbar Massage: The pillow provides great lower back support on its own, but the simple vibration massage is a fantastic bonus. It genuinely helps to loosen up my lower back and prevent the stiffness that used to plague me. Adjustability: The recline is deep and stable, so you can properly stretch out when you need a break without feeling like you're going to tip over. If you are a serious gamer, a streamer, or anyone who spends a significant amount of time at a desk, you owe it to your body to get a comfortable chair. This Dowinx chair is the first one I've owned that feels just as comfortable in hour eight as it does in hour one. It's an investment in your health and your hobby. Highly, highly recommended!

So my chair lasted 10 months of daily use. It was structurally weak underneath the chair where it connects to the metal base. I did like reclining at an angle and eventually because the welds are so weird that it began to bend both backwards and to one side. The chair was also structurally weak where the arms screw in on the sides of the buttrest (or whatever you want to call it) to the point to where the armrests just wiggle back and forth despite tightening the bolt every week or so. Overall good comfortable chair but for the approx $150 I spent - I would go with something else perhaps.

I can’t say enough good things about the Dowinx Gaming Chair! I was looking for a chair that would be comfortable enough for long work-from-home days and also perfect for relaxing while gaming — this chair checks ALL the boxes. The pocket spring cushion feels like sitting on a luxury sofa — no more sore back or stiff legs. The breathable fabric is a lifesaver (especially in summer), and the gel pad adds an extra layer of cooling comfort. The reclining feature + footrest is perfect for when I want to take a quick break or watch a movie. It was super easy to assemble, feels very sturdy and high quality, and the look is just beautiful — the beige color fits perfectly with my home office decor. After using this chair for several weeks, I can confidently say it has improved my comfort, posture, and even productivity. If you’re thinking about buying it — DO IT! You won’t regret it.

Edit 3: DO NOT BUY. The replacement to this chair also just broke in the exact same spot/way. These chairs are not quality. Do not waste your money. Edit 2: It took weeks to get a replacement from the manufacturer for the defective product I initially received that broke after 3 months. it took almost a week for them to respond to the initial email and then a lot of back and forth and asking if I'd accept a returned chair that was new in box. I accepted that as it was the color I ordered (they were originally going to send a different color also a return). After days of back and forth they then tell me the warehouse is "backed up" and it will take at least another week for them to fulfill the order all the while amazon orders were showing very rapid prime shipments for the exact same chair. The new chair is noticeably less comfortable than the other one even though it looks the exact same. It feels like there is less cushion padding on this one as it is far more firm and very often leaves me feeling sore after sitting in it for work all day whereas the original chair I didn't have that problem. I'm going to have to buy some type of seat cushion as a result as it's not a chair I can sit in for as long as i need to now. Again this wasn't an issue with the original chair I received as it was very comfortable. Also like the first ones the arm rests/arm attachments do not feel super premium as they wobble and move far more than you would expect for something screwed in so i am worried about that breaking again. Given that the first one broke after 3 months and the second one is way less comfortable there seems to be a quality control issue with these chairs so I can't really recommend buying it at this price point. Edit 1: Adjusting stars as after 3 months the chair has broken with a metal attachment inside the chair that holds up the right arm breaking making the chair lopsided and uneven. This makes me question quality and durability especially as this is marketed as a big and tall chair so the supports should not be breaking after 3 months. I have contacted customer service about their 2 year warranty and am awaiting a response. Will update according to how that process goes. original: At 6'2" this chair is amazing. It's very comfortable, looks great with my current desk/PC setup, and was fairly easy to install. The little back pillow constantly slide down is the only real con other than the arms can be a bit wobbly. A little pricey, but I got it with a coupon which made it a great deal. If you can get this on sale definitely recommend it.

The remaining chair arrived right on time, well packaged, and in perfect condition. The chair itself is very comfortable, with a cushion that feels more like a sofa than a typical gaming chair, and the breathable fabric helps keep it from feeling hot during longer sessions. My son loves it—especially the built‑in massage feature in the lumbar cushion—and he has been using it daily for gaming and homework. The size and ergonomics are great for a smaller teen, and the reclining back with footrest makes it easy for him to relax without straining his back. Overall, we are very happy with both the quality of the chair and the responsiveness of the company’s support team, and we would gladly purchase from them again.
