More than anything else, I HATE mopping the floors until now. This is a fantastic cleaning tool, I have luxury wood floors throughout my house and this is sooooo easy to use and really gets the floors clean, totally worth the money! It's a great purchase. Highly recommend. Especially becuz pads are removable and washable - fantastic+.

This is the best thing I have ever bought to clean with. I love it so much. The steam comes in 3 levels which makes it perfect for cleaning even my LVP (mine isn’t glued, I know they say not to use this but I do) I have hardwood and tile everywhere so this has saved my life. You can use the steam trigger to shoot out the front and it helps break up even the toughest of crud on the floor. The mop heads spin which is great to really get a nice clean going. It heats up quickly, and has a decent sized water tank so you can go for a few rooms. This is perfect for all hard surfaces. I even used it in our shower to scrub the floor tiles in there! Highly recommend the steam and scrub mop!

This is the one you've been looking for!
When asked about my new Shark Steam&Scrub yesterday, I hadn't used it yet but I just finished using it for the first time & it is FANTASTIC! I have a Bissel steamer but wanted one with brushes to get into the crevices of my kitchen floor pattern so bought the Shark plus brushes for it. First, it is the most quiet machine I've ever used.So quiet that my 2 usually scary-cat dogs who hate machine noises, never moved from their beds despite cleaning right up close to them. I finally had to get them to move with treats!! The Shark did a wonderful job...sufficient wetness but not too much, very easy to handle with just enough weight to be stable but not heavy or resistant to moving & a nice long cord & left me with a beautifully clean floor. Very, very impressed with my Shark...will probably be donating my other machines.

Great Steam Action with a Surprisingly Short Cord
Review: Shark Steam & Scrub with Steam Blaster (S8201) Rating: ★★★★☆ (4/5) The Shark Steam & Scrub (S8201) is a powerhouse for anyone looking to move beyond manual mopping. It effectively combines steam and rotating pads to lift grime, though it requires a bit of muscle and a nearby outlet to get the best results. Performance & Features This model handles its primary duty—sanitizing and cleaning hard floors—very well. The Steam Blaster technology is a standout, providing a concentrated burst of steam for stubborn, dried-on messes. The addition of LED headlights is surprisingly useful, illuminating dust and streaks in corners or under cabinets that you might otherwise miss. With three steam modes, you can easily adjust the intensity based on whether you are doing a light dust-over or a deep scrub. The "Catch": Room for Improvement While the cleaning power is undeniable, there are a few ergonomic and design quirks to keep in mind: • Handling & Maneuverability: Unlike lighter stick mops, this unit is hard to control with one hand. Because of the dual rotating heads, the mop can feel like it’s "walking" away from you. You’ll definitely want to use both hands to maintain a steady path. • Cord Length: Surprisingly, the power cord is shorter than other Shark models. If you have a large open-concept space, be prepared to switch outlets more frequently than you might expect. • Water Capacity: The water container is on the smaller side. While this keeps the unit from being too heavy when full, it does mean more frequent trips to the sink during a deep clean. • Missing Accessories: A notable omission is a dedicated scrubber pad for high-traffic or extra-dirty spots. The included pads are great for general use, but you may find yourself wishing for something more abrasive for heavy-duty messes. Final Verdict The Shark S8201 does the job intended and leaves floors feeling significantly cleaner than a traditional mop. If you don't mind the two-handed operation and the shorter cord, the scrubbing power and steam blaster make it a worthy investment for maintaining hard floors.

Best Shark Spin Steam Spin Mop To Date!
Best stream mop model to date! If you’re looking for a way to stream sanitize your floors this is the model for you. This is the S8201 and newest edition to the Shark Stream Mop line. This upgraded version has a removable tank, making refills easy. I recommend using distilled water for cleaning, especially if you have hard water or treated city water - it prevents mineral buildup within the steam vac. This is lightweight and, while it’s not cordless, the cord is plenty long enough to clean a large area. We have hardwood in the kitchen, dining room, office, and living room and I was able to steam clean all of these floors with one small tank refill. It has three settings, the higher, the more powerful. It’s a self-propelled steam mop too, so it’s really easy to move around compared to manual ones. This version also has LED lights - a feature I love in all vacuum type devices because it can make it so much better to catch missed areas. The steam blast feature works great on stuck on stains. Occasionally it takes a few steam blasts and passes with the spinning scrubbers if something is really stuck on the floor. I loved mine so much, I got one for my moms house in NY too. She is disabled and needs assistance with cleaning, and that seemed like an easier option than brining mine back and forth. Oh, and let me add - during winter months when the salt from icy roads inevitably gets tracked inside from shoes or furry paw prints, this can clean those spots up super fast! The S8201 model comes with four spinner attachments. After cleaning, just toss them in the wash and once dry they are good to go again. A much more environmentally conscious product compared to one time use mopping pads seen with things like the Swiffer Wetjet. The price for this has fluctuated a lot over the past couple of months. I initially purchased mine for $179, but then a couple weeks later it dropped to $119 so I did a re-order/return - $60 is a big difference. Whether you’re buying through Amazon, Shark, QVC, or TikTok - just make sure to pay attention to the model number being sold! The S8200 only comes with one set of scrubbing pads (and tends to cost more), and any lower model number is outdated. If you like to clean and sanitize without harsh chemicals (especially if you have young kids or pets!), this is worth your investment.

Powerful Clean, Easy to Use—Just Stock Up on Extra Pads!
I’m really impressed with the Shark Steam Blaster Scrub Mop! It works incredibly well and leaves my floors looking spotless and refreshed every time I use it. The steam power combined with the scrubbing feature makes a noticeable difference, especially on tougher spots, but it’s still super easy to use and doesn’t feel like a hassle to pull out for regular cleaning. I also love that it is easy to maneuver and stands up on its own. It dries very quickly and streak free! One thing I would definitely recommend is buying extra pads—especially if you plan to clean your whole house in one go. They do a great job, but you’ll go through them quickly when tackling multiple rooms. Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase and would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for an effective and easy-to-use steam mop!

Shark Steamer: A hard working companion, Easy to use and Great results.
I'm a previous Shark Steamer owner. It was a flat steam mop not rotary. I had this one maybe 10 years. That one got water temps to about 180 degrees. It worked really well but left streaks. I had tried other steamers that promised to get water temps to 212 degrees which is boiling point for water. They all failed within months. Too small and too hot. So I continued to use my old Shark Steamer with ok results. I prefer the idea of steaming for cleaning vs the chemical solution for other store bought mops. I bought this one in December 2025, just before Christmas because the old steamer died. I am very pleased. The things I like include the following. 1. Bigger water tank. I can steam clean more before taking the time to refill. The old one took 3 fills to do a small clean like the kitchen and bathrooms. Today I did a much more thorough cleaning, rolling up rugs, moving furniture etc. This was a longer clean time. I filled twice. Very happy. 2. I didn't know if I would like the roller pads as never using before. It actually works well. It is so much easier to move the steamer over the floor and I think it cleans better. Also, I don't get the streaking I got with the old machine. I'm very pleased. 3. It is light weight and easy to maneuver. 4. Steam: So the pads are wet with the steam water and you have a button to push for more steam if you need it. Very nice. Needless to say, I get enough steam to clean the floor. Very happy. 5. The prompts ask about scent? I don't know why. I do put a bit of vinegar in the distilled water. My preference. 6. I use distilled water. 7. The pads are easy to snap on and take off once you get the hang of it. Concerns include: 1. The cord is stiff. The cord on my first steamer was very pliable. The cord gets wrapped around the 2 hooks on the handle. The question I have is will this decrease the life of the cord? I have no idea. Perhaps with use it will be more flexible. I could be just being "new". Time will tell. 2. The cord is shorted than the Shark steamer I had before. I have added a short extension set for ease. 3. The pads work well. They also get very dirty, to be expected. I found that I have to take a strong brush to the the pads before putting them in the washer. Otherwise they come out really cruddy. It's a small step. The old steamer mop head got ugly pretty fast. I have 2 sets going right now and doing well. Over all, I am very very pleased with this Shark Steamer and would recommend.

Good product for cleaning without harsh chemicals
Considerable to be use on Vinyl floors, creates good steam with less waiting. Through deeper cleaning. Easy to take off the dirty pads and swap with fresh ones. Smooth sliding with very less disturbance due to it’s noise. Valuable cleaning by steam by getting rid of harmful bacteria/virus especially with small kids in house rolling all over places Can do 400-500sq ft in one full tank with moderate dirt, can use every alternate day so easy handling. Looks and size factor is good and fits well in corner in my apartment. Only thing disliked which took off one star is mop need some extra work to get them clean for next use. I used Tide stain removal spray and let it sit for while and dropped into top load washing machine even after doing hand washing.
