Sturdy and good hand feel
I also purchased the paired spoons to go with the slotted spatula. They all look good and well made. They have a good hand feel and seem balanced. Seems sturdy to cook heavy food due to thick handles and quality wood. Can't say if and when mineral oil is needed.

Great value for this spoon that is made from high quality materials. The finish on the spoon makes it easy to clean. The handle is a bit short for larger pots, great for smaller pots and shallow pans

Handle is way too short for cooking, I guess it is okay for mixing.
I was looking forward to replacing my wooden spoon. the bowl of the spoon is approx the same size but the handle is way too short. Disappointed in this purchase. I will now have to search stores for what I am replacing.
