Turned out Amazing!!! It does seem overwhelming when you first open it and read the directions, but after watching a few videos, it really is not that hard and turned out beautifully I do wish our floor had been finished so that we could’ve completed the bottom portion, however, everything is prepped and will be super easy to complete once our floor is finished

Solid Quality, would buy again. Install tip: Instead of 1.5" or 1.57" for the top hanging bolt centerline to top of door, use 1 13/16" for a perfect fit!

Great barn door hardware. We used it on a light weight door and had to retro fit it some. I would add that to the description but it works well and looks great

The Good: The kit is very complete. This is my third barn door installation, and things like the door handles, guide rollers (for floor), and an eye-hook latch, that have always been extras, are included here. The hardware is well made and well finished. There was only one small abrasive blemish on part of the track that could have been from my taking it out of the package. The Less Good: The instructions are written on a small piece of paper that can be hard to read. My instructions came pre-torn somehow, but still usable. They also don't go into much detail about how to install the included accessories, but they cover the basics. The bolts for the door are slightly too long. I have a standard, Home Depot door slab that is 1 3/8" thick, and I either have to have them slightly loose, or deform the acorn nuts that they screw into to make them tight. This can be solved by adding some extra washers. The instructions show a diagram indicating that the first door hanger hole should be 1.5" from the top of the door. I followed this and ended up with a door that hangs too low (the little disks for keeping the door on the track are useless, and I had to cut 1/2" from the bottom of the door to install the guide roller bracket under it). I verified with someone else that I wasn't misreading it. This is the reason for my 4-star rating. It is slightly more difficult than usual to mark the locations of the holes to mount the track. You have to mark through the stand-offs, which are about 1 5/8" deep and hold the track together, making it hard to see your horizontal line and determine the center of the circle you're marking through, and then mark it while the track flexes. You might be able to mark them without the track if you can determine their exact distance apart - somewhere around 12.25" on mine; or, it might be easier to line them up horizontally and us a self-centering punch, but I didn't have that. Conclusion: Yes, I would buy this kit again, but I would do my own calculation for where to drill for the door hangers. The first hole should be at least 2" from the top.

Exactly what we needed. Rolls nice and we have HEAVY oak doors hanging from them.

The hardware was fine however I replaced the handles which were pretty plain.

I ordered two different hardware kits one from another store that seemed to be the perfect fit for my new barn door for the laundry room. However, when I measured it seemed the piece of rail was way too long for my small small space so I went to Amazon right away and ordered a hardware kit that looked about correct. It was 6 feet and that seemed to be good enough. I just hoped it was And I had Taskrabbit gentleman help me tonight and it went so well. He knew what he was doing he had to actually borrow a piece of trim from the bottom of the wall so that the rail was put in properly and had strength to hold up the way to the door. He knew what he was doing. I was so excited I know it’s not a review about the guy however it’s all a good story and I couldn’t help telling it to you. Amazon is really come through for me for many years, especially these last few years of rentals and moving to a new smaller place and still doing some minor rentals here and there, and I never know what to do so I appreciate the fact that you guys had the perfect rail kit and the cutest little thing to top it off. was there was little metal koala bears that you can place at the front of the door, but Not really my style but still thought they were the cutest thing. I did keep them and put them in my tool kit anyway thanks again. Amazon you came through for me finally have a beautiful sliding door for my laundry room.

Very easy to assemble , works great in small spaces !

I've used this twice for exterior decking, to enclose storage underneath. One was installed recently, and the other one a year ago. Minimal assembly and straightforward setup. The item arrived promptly. I would recommend.

Instructions could be better they are pretty basic, i watched youtube on slidng door installs to get a better idea. Hardware looks pretty heavy duty.
