Gel by essie Longwear Nail Polish, Clear Shiny Topcoat, Up To 15 Day Wear

Last year I stopped getting my nails done in a salon with gel, as I was worried my nails were becoming brittle. I purchased sally hanson nail polish first and this was fine, but I found it chipped after a couple days and I was fed up with having to redo them. My friend recommended Essie Gel Couture, and the difference was crazy. I still use the Sally Hanson Neil strengthener as I find that does make a difference, but then I put the Essie colour and this top coat on and my manicure will last for 10-14 days. I find the top coat works well over other brands as well, but works best with the Essie colours. Another bonus is it’s really fast drying too, so you don’t have to sit in nail jail for an hour after applying.

This is the holy grail. I put this top coat on earlier today, dries within 60 seconds and sets almost exactly like gel nail polish. My main issue with polishes like these is that they take ages to dry and are often ‘soft’ which means they get dented / ruined so easily. This formula however is the exact opposite, I have tried every way to ‘dent’ the polish but my nails still look freshly painted! This is honestly the best nail polish experience I have ever had. Not a single air bubble in sight, just a perfect application. I highly recommend this product and cannot wait to buy more!

I haven’t really invested in top coat before but I would say after using this it’s definitely worth it. Definitely prolongs the life of polish on your nails and leaves a lovely shine.

I love this brand and the fact it is gel polish. I use this with the baby pink french manicure gel and it looks beautiful. If you apply it properly it even looks like a salon made manicure. It’s very easy to apply and forgiving as it’s colourless, but ensure you allow to dry fully or you might think it’s dry and get dents in it or things stuck to it. Great value for money as you’re not spending loads on extortionate manicures in the salon.

This is nothing short of a miracle! My nails have been really damaged by gels and I have been slowly growing them out. I recently went on holiday and was tempted to have gels again. However, I thought I'd give this a go as it had good reviews. I was more than pleased with it with a full two weeks wear! Incredible! I totally recommend this top coat 🙂

Ich benutze den Essie Gel Couture Top Coat inzwischen regelmäßig und möchte ihn ehrlich gesagt nicht mehr missen. Hauptsächlich in Kombination mit den Essie-Farblacken und bin wirklich sehr zufrieden damit. Was ich bei dem Überlack besonders mag, das er im Verhältnis zum Farblack (Essie) wirklich schnell trocknet. Ich hatte schon andere Top Coats, bei denen man ewig aufpassen musste nirgendwo anzustoßen. Der Glanz ist richtig schön intensiv und sieht fast aus wie eine Gel-Maniküre aus dem Studio, halt eben ohne Lampe. 😊 Die Haltbarkeit überzeugt mich ebenfalls. Bei mir hält der Lack meistens gut eine Woche problemlos durch. Je nachdem wie stark meine Nägel im Alltag beansprucht werden, oft sogar bis zu zwei Wochen. Gegen Mitte, Ende der zweiten Woche sieht man hier und da natürlich kleine Absplitterungen, aber für eine normale Lackierung finde ich das absolut stark! 💪🏼 Ein kleiner Minuspunkt ist für mich der Preis, der leider etwas angezogen hat. Deshalb war ich sehr froh ihn bei Amazon im Angebot deutlich günstiger als im Einzelhandel gesehen zu haben. Insgesamt für mich ein Top Coat, den ich immer wieder gerne nachkaufe, da die Haltbarkeit, der Glanz und die Trocknungszeit einfach passen. Für mich ist der Lack eine klare Empfehlung! 😊
