Westalee Design/Sew Steady Ruler Foot Starter Package Low Shank

Do not like the HIGH price, but is absolutely necessary for ruler quilting for we who cannot draw a straight line let alone a circle. I use a lot in quilting, Takes practice but has improved my quilting, you get 4 rulers which I have found useful, If I could find a similar foot cheaper, i would, but that are excellent quality & will last a long time with daily use, can't imagine them ever breaking

This was a very good product, looked well made. On recommendation, I purchased this for my 221, but by the time I covered my feed dogs there was not enough room under the foot for free motion of the quilt. I tried using the "official" feed dog cover and using tape and smooth flow products, but was unsuccessful getting the 221 to properly free motion using this foot- must stick with the original darning foot. The FW222 does have lowering feed dogs but the 221 does not. There were no issues with the return, and although this did not work for me I was happy with the product's quality and the company.

Works well.

Very easy to install and adjust. Ruler quilting on a domestic sewing machine takes lots of practice and patience, but this product is great to start with.

The produce description indicates there are 5 items: Westalee Sew Steady Ruler Foot Starter Package Low Shank: Low Shank Ruler Foot; Arc Template; Stable Tape; Spacing Gauge; Instruction Sheet. However the package doe not include the Spacing Gauge. I chose this set because it said it had the gauge. I didn't ask the community until after I ordered it. I'm very disappointed that the seller has incorrect information posted. Update: I purchased the spacing gauge elsewhere and was able to successfully use the ruler foot and ruler. It will take practice, but I am happy with the set. It works well on my machine once the foot is set in the correct position and adjusted for the fabric thickness. I do wish there were more instructions about how to create different designs.

Ease of use.

after a frustrating time buying and waiting for a ruler foot someone suggested this one, so last ditch effort or new machine i got this, yayay it works and i can continue ruler work learning

The foot works great with my low shank domestic machine. I bought this ruler root with ruler because I was waiting that a thicker ruler wouldn't go completely around. This does with no problem. It also had a little guide with measurements on it that is very handy when quilting spaces or just wanting to check yourself.

Fit my Brother NQ900 which is a low shank. Perfect for the rulers I have.
