Cela fait maintenant 24 heures que j'ai installé cette station météo dans mon jardin, achetée en remplacement d'une station Bresser non-connectée.L'installation s'est déroulée rapidement et sans difficulté. Il suffit de se connecter au point d'accès WiFi "EasyWeather" et de configurer la station via un PC ou un smartphone, et par la suite, de la relier au point d'accès WiFi de son routeur.Si vous souhaitez partager vos relevés de manière publique, celles-ci peuvent être facilement transmises sur les sites Weather Underground et Weathercloud. Il suffit de se créer un compte sur ces deux sites et d'indiquer les identifiants communiqués sur l'interface de configuration de la station.La liaison entre la console (l'afficheur) et la station météo est fiable et robuste. Elle semble porter assez loin.D'ailleurs, pour celles et ceux qui se poseraient la question : Non, il n'est pas nécessaire que votre réseau WiFi passe à l'endroit où est installée la station météo. C'est votre console (afficheur) qui communique en WiFi pour envoyer les données aux différents services de partage (dont le site Ecowitt pour voir vos relevés sur PC et smartphone), et non pas la station météo directement. La station météo communique par ondes radio de manière indépendante jusqu'à l'afficheur.Les températures relevées jusqu'à maintenant sont précises et similaires à la station Météo France située à 2km de chez nous, idem pour l'humidité.Les mesures des rafales de vent sont sous-estimées, mais il faut bien prendre en compte que ma station est installée à 2 mètres du sol. Les recommandations officielles préconisent l'installation d'un anémomètre à 10 mètres, pas toujours facile pour une installation d'amateur... Le seul moyen de vérifier si cette station est réellement capable de calculer les rafales de manière pertinente serait donc de l'installer à 10 mètres du sol.Les relevés effectués par le pluviomètre semblent être réalistes.Le baromètre (mesure de la pression atmosphérique) nécessite d'être calibré, comme c'est le cas pour la plupart des stations météo.Par la même occasion, le capteur de température et d'humidité interne (situé à l'intérieur de l'afficheur) semble être bien plus précis que celui de mon ancienne station Bresser.La station est alimentée par énergie solaire grâce à un petit panneau intégré sur le dessus. 2 piles AA prennent le relais lorsque c'est nécessaire, et vous pouvez surveiller leur état via l'interface Ecowitt, et même recevoir une alerte par mail lorsque leur niveau est trop faible.Pour surveiller les mesures depuis votre smartphone, vous pouvez utiliser l'application du fabricant, Ecowitt. L'interface est très intuitive.Attention cependant : La notice d'utilisation fournie est exclusivement en Anglais. Comprenant la langue de Shakespeare, cela ne m'a pas posé problème, mais cela risque d'être un obstacle considérable pour les non-Anglophones...

Over het algemeen ben ik zeer tevreden met dit weerstation en zou ik het zeker aanbevelen aan anderen.#### InstallatieDe installatie van de Ecowitt WS2910 verliep soepel. De meegeleverde handleiding is duidelijk en stap-voor-stap te volgen, waardoor het monteren van de verschillende onderdelen eenvoudig was. Alle benodigde accessoires waren aanwezig, en het product voelt stevig en van hoge kwaliteit aan.#### Koppeling met WundergroundHet kostte wat uitzoekwerk om de koppeling met Wunderground op te zetten. Hoewel de handleiding hierbij enige hulp bood, moest ik online extra informatie zoeken om dit succesvol te voltooien. Eenmaal ingesteld, werkte de koppeling naar behoren en kon ik de gegevens van mijn weerstation eenvoudig online bekijken.#### Display en ZichtbaarheidEen klein minpuntje is dat het display van het weerstation niet uit elke hoek goed zichtbaar is. Dit kan soms lastig zijn als je het scherm vanuit een andere hoek wilt aflezen zonder je te verplaatsen.#### AanbevelingEen handige tip is om gelijk Energizer lithium AA-batterijen voor de sensor erbij te kopen. Deze batterijen gaan langer mee en presteren beter in verschillende weersomstandigheden, wat vooral handig is voor een weerstation.#### ConclusieKortom, de Ecowitt WS2910 is een degelijk en betrouwbaar weerstation. Ondanks het kleine minpuntje met de displayhoek, ben ik zeer tevreden met de prestaties en de bouwkwaliteit. De installatie verloopt vlot, en na wat extra moeite is de koppeling met Wunderground goed te realiseren. Ik zou dit weerstation zeker aanbevelen aan iedereen die op zoek is naar een betrouwbaar en gebruiksvriendelijk weerstation.

This weather station was very well packed and the instruction manual showed how to assemble it. The monitor linked up with the station eventually after a short search period and since then is working perfectly. I have not yet linked it up to the internet via my WiFi but will do so when I get a spare moment. Very satisfied with the purchase and would recommend this unit to anyone who is interested in weather monitoring.

works a treat when i received all the parts, couple of parts missing in the first station but the second station all sorted now. Nice one.

This device received very good reviews from a weather web site for features and value for money- and I cannot disagree. But (and isn't there always a but!) there are some things to consider.(1) You have to scan a QR code on the lid of the box in order to download the user manual and a few other things. As it's in pdf format and the information is quite detailed, it is only really usable on a tablet or printed-off.(2) Before you can realistically set it up, you need to find a suitable place and have a fitting kit ready to go. This will normally take the form of an aerial pole and wall bracket or something similar - together with some DIY skill. Fortunately I had a suitable pole that I stuck into the garden umbrella stand, so I have been able to set the device going temporarily.(3) The setting-up instructions are adequate, verging on challenging.(4) 7-in-1 is a bit of a stretch, but there is plenty of information to keep you amused.I bought this with an Amazon 'deal' and a 5% voucher code and consequently it really was good value and I'm pleased with it. There's an app so the display can be read remotely and that's also quite good. All-in-all it's a satisfactory piece of equipment.
