This product is stiff but also soft and malleable, and it seems to be of excellent quality. I place it straddling my shoulder with one loop in front and the other behind me. The pressure of my back against the chair holds the back arm in place and I hold on to the loop of the front arm with my hand. The options are vibration only, and vibration plus heat. 'Heat only' is not an option. The one vibration setting is a continuous fast paced vibration. This is exactly what I was searching for. I got the one that plugs into the wall, and I'm very happy with it. It runs continuously for 15 minutes before it shuts off automatically. I have found that for me, 45 minutes (three 15-minute cycles) is enough to ease the spasm away. It has been such a relief to be able to silence the spasms, as they have been my constant companion for the past 30 years. I highly recommend this product, and I'm so very glad I bought it.

There is a zipper on the cover to access the battery box, takes 4 AA batteries or you can use the adapter and plug it intothe wall if you don't mind not being wireless. I like that is had both features. Makes it nice for traveling too. This massager has 2 different vibrabration speeds and a heat feature as well. You can pull the handles tighter to increase the intensity if you want. Overall I think it's a good value.

Got it today. The manual states so many restrictions, but I tried it anyway. I tend to get disrupt neck & shoulder pain especially when stressed. Put this around my neck for 3 sessions of the maximum 15 minutes allowed. It has calmed & soothed my acute pain! I can sense the muscles have relaxed. Highly recommend after only one day.

It heats up quickly and has a pleasant vibration that relaxes my neck after a long day. It’s lightweight, comfortable, and works quietly. Very happy with my purchase.

I should have listened to the reviews. Heat works ok. Massage is very mild. I didn't know it was supposed to be shiatsu when I bought it but it's definitely not. It's just vibration, which I would be ok with if it wasn't so weak. It's too bad because it looks nice and seems well made on the outside. Oh well.
