These polyester cloth ties are flexible, soft and stretchable. As I have aged my hands do not work as well, I find these plant ties quite easy to grab, see, and tie.This is a new product for me, so I am still on the learning curve. I notice its stretchability works well with certain plants and not with others. This is nice product to have in your garden basket
