What it says on the tin.
It is indeed 12 Gauge silicon coated wire. I bought it to make up a cable to run between my power station and my mobile solar panel. It's not the easiest of wires to solder onto XT60 connectors, but once the sheath is removed it fits pretty much perfectly. The other ends are fitted with MC4 connectors.If you join the MC4 connectors together running from the XT60 and you put a multimeter across, it's registering 0.5 ohm resistance through a pair of MC4's, the two solder joints on the XT60 and the 10M (total Length) of wire, that's not bad. All soldering done in a damp wood using a gas fired copy of a dremel multitip, in poor lighting.The Silicon sheathing is nice and flexible apart from where the heat shrink has been fitted at the XT60 connector where it's slightly more rigid. All in all a good buy. Will consider buying more for future projects.

Very flexible tinned multi strand wire
Well impressed with these two 14 gauge wires.Received 1 black and 1 red both about 5 metres long.Surprised how flexible they are as I am using them for a couple of little projects so the flexibility really helps in the smaller spaces.The insulating sheaths are described as silicon rubber with a temperature rating circa 200 degrees although mine will never be used for anywhere near that temperature.Multi strand cores are tinned making them easier to solder.They are only rated at 3 Amps so take that into account when considering these for your project work.Length wise the description suggests each wire is just over 16 foot long so plenty for my purposes for the next couple of months.
