Same as ''The Tea Makers of London'' - Japanese Sencha Green Tea Loose Leaf
For the price and quality, it is acceptable. not unpleasant taste. The highest grade, Japanese Green Tea Co Gokuzyo Aracha Loose Leaf Tea is much more better than these, but it is much more expensive too!

Not recommended
I can’t recommend this and I won’t be buying it again. It makes very cloudy tea.Maybe I got the bottom of the barrel - but then, they shouldn’t be selling the bottom of the barrel. The taste is nothing special. The only good thing about it is that it’s quite strong so you don’t need to use much and it should go a long way.

Great Tea
This leaf really is very delicious and full of good flavour. It is a very good drink in terms of nutrition and health as well and this is a fairly good price for an actual japanese green tea. Would recommend.

Nice but not the best
I got this to try because I love green tea. Unfortunately I didn't like it quite as much as some other teas. My favourite are Chinese green teas. This one was okay, but the leaves are shredded too finely which I just don't like. Taste is okay but like I say, I prefer some others more.

Bland
I admit that Green Tea is not one of my favourites, but I well remember being served it on my visits to Japan, and it was nothing like this. OK, so I prefer stronger teas, but I am also happy drinking something like Lapsang Souchong, with its delicate yet distinct flavour. This, however, is just bland. You can tell that it’s green tea (in a blind tasting), but it has very little flavour to distinguish it. There is none of the classic bitter flavour of the stronger green teas, but there is also nothing to take its place.Unnoteworthy.

Delicate & authentic green tea
This review is for the “ Loose Leaf Japanese Green Tea KIYORAKA 70g by YAMAEI”This makes a delightfully refreshing cup of green tea. I used a teaspoon of leaves in 300ml water (half boiling, half cold), I left my leaves in for about 2 minutes as I added more water than is recommended. I removed the leaves when the water was infused (a light, bright green). The flavour was clean, light and without any bitterness. As these are loose leaves (do not come in teabags) you will have to use something to steep & remove them from the water, like a loose tea infuser in your cup or a teapot with an inbuilt infuser. The packaging is resealable so there is no need to decant it. To reuse the packaging, please ensure you do not accidentally cut off the seal at the top when opening. The price is fair considering the care and expertise that has clearly gone into producing the tea.I would like to thank YAMAEI for their product. I highly recommend it.

Perfection
Price at review: £7.99It is a long time since I have had authentic Japanese green tea and this really is the genuine article. Direct from Japan supplied by a company who has been producing tea for nearly 100 years. It is an honor to review it.The flavour is earthy and so so clean. Not a hint of bitterness and feels cleansing and uplifting. A very natural looking and tasting experience. This is a classic green tea.Personally, I probably make it stronger than the recommended procedure, but everyone can find their own way. I use a little leaf holder spoon and allow it to rest or stir it until I think it has reached the optimum and then remove the leaf holder. There are many styles of preparation you can experiment with. The packet is 70g and the recommended amount to use is 3g so that gives enough for approximately 23 cups. I tipped the packet in to another air-tight container to make it easier to serve without spilling any. This is a delicious product and has reminded me just how much I enjoy Japanese tea and my son also loves it so we will be drinking much tea together over the coming days.
