Moroccanoil Treatment Purple Hair Oil for Blonde Hair

I’ve used Moroccan Oil for years so I thought I would try this one as I have bleached blonde hair and thought it might help with gentle toning. To be honest the product has the same qualities as the original but I can’t say I’ve noticed any toning effect, if there is an effect then it is very subtle. Don’t let the scary purple colour put you off trying it. It is still great at conditioning and smoothing. I use it on damp hair and mix it with a very small amount of other products in the palm of my hand. You literally only need a few drops so it is quite economical for such a small bottle.

Amazing oil for bleached hair. Had the lighter version for blonde hair and was amazed how amazing my hair felt. Had been away on holiday and thought I’d try purple one to see if it would tone down any brassiness. Thicker than lighter version but like using both as only using purple one couple of times a week. My daughter who is only 13 even said my hair was looking so healthy and shiny! I love Olaplex oil and used for years but my hair never felt this good. I will try original version also but thought might be too heavy for my fine hair.

I like this. It does a good job at keeping the brassiness from my hair. However, I don't feel it's as hydrating as the normal Moroccanoil. Also, the dispender pumps way too much out for me. I end up tipping some out the bottle instead.

I bought the little bottle first to try it out and see if it was worth the money. I buy the big bottles now as I wouldn't be without it. For bleached hair like mine after I've washed it apply a 5p sized amount in my hands, rub them together to warm it up and then distribute throughout mid lengths to ends. Finally I brush I brush it through from roots to ends. It doesn't leave my hair feeling greasy or oily and stops my end feeling dry and breaking off when styling so in my opinion, definitely worth the money. The only thing I will say is I used the original morrocan oil before and in all honesty can't notice a difference between the original and the purple for blonde. I have ash blonde hair so I figured I would stick with the purple in case it does make a subtle difference as its just the same as the original oil in terms of conditioning. Also the little bottle lasts me around 4 months, I have long hair and wash it 2-3 times a week, using the oil after each wash.

Makes hair soft but that’s all ! Would not say it does what it advertises.

Comprei este óleo para nutrir meus cabelos brancos e o resultado foi excelente. Maciez e brilho intensos. O cheiro é suave. Tem que usar bem pouca quantidade. Não gostei da embalagem de 25 ml, apesar de ser de vidro, não tem um dosador para controlar o produto e evitar o disperdício. Pelo preço, o frasco deveria ser mais elaborado. De qualquer forma o produto é ótimo.
