I Am Wednesday (Little Golden Book)

A Magical Little Golden Book That Will Become a Family Favorite! "Am Wednesday" is one of the most delightful additions to the Little Golden Book series that I’ve had the pleasure of reading with my children. This book encapsulates everything that makes the series timeless and magical — a simple yet beautifully crafted story, charming illustrations, and a message that both kids and adults can connect with on different levels. The story follows the adventures of a spirited character named Wednesday, whose journey is filled with curiosity, imagination, and heartfelt moments. The narrative is wonderfully accessible for younger readers, with short sentences and rhythmic writing that makes it easy to follow along. It's perfect for children who are just beginning to read independently or those who love to be read to. My kids immediately fell in love with Wednesday, a character who is relatable in her wonder and determination. She feels like a friend we would want to join on all her adventures. What truly sets this book apart, however, are the stunning illustrations. The artwork bursts with color and detail, capturing each scene with vibrancy. Every page feels like its own piece of art, and it’s fun to point out the little details hidden in the backgrounds. The illustrations perfectly complement the story, making it a visual treat as much as a literary one. In terms of longevity, I can see this being one of those books that stays on our bookshelf for years. It has the kind of appeal that makes kids want to hear it night after night, and it’s short enough that it makes for a great bedtime story. But it’s also layered enough that, as a parent, I never grow tired of reading it aloud. "Am Wednesday" is an endearing tale filled with joy, whimsy, and heart. It teaches children about curiosity, friendship, and the value of exploring the world around them. Little Golden Books have always been about creating lasting memories, and this one does exactly that. If you're looking for a new family favorite that will be cherished for years to come, this is the book to get! I can't recommend it enough.

It’s a great little book for kids who love Wednesday and enjoy spooky, fun characters. The book is a good length for reading together, and my child really enjoyed it. Overall, it’s a cute addition to a child’s book collection and would make a great gift for a young Wednesday fan!

A quick and unique read that briefly tells the tale of season one of "Wednesday." It's geared for intoverts and young minds who think outside the box or at least in my mind. It's going in a Little Libraries for others to enjoy.

Such a lovely book for the young ones. Our girl is 5 and loves to dress up as Wednesday and listen to the soundtrack however being a little too young to watch the series (because the monsters will scare her) this was a great way for her to feel like she knows the story and Wednesdays character. She was so excited, we’ve read this many times already it a good little book.

My daughter loves this book. It really captures Wednesday’s dark humor and charm. What I enjoyed most is how the book celebrates being unique and different. It’s a fun read and a great reminder that it’s okay to embrace who you are.
