Black n' Red A4 Casebound Notebook - Plain

Good quality paper, and importantly the design is good - normally hardback notebooks are very hard to open the cover but for this one the cover is wrapped in a good design so that it is easy to open the hardback cover.

Great quality, ink doesn't bleed on the paper, good thickness - 100x better than overrated Moleskin!! Please bring back the world map and the underground maps on the inside covers like previous versions (the quotes are a bit cheesy!).

I cannot abide notebooks with lines in them as i mind map, draw and notate freely. These have lovely white plain paper in them, are good quality, and look business like.I sent my scouts out everywhere to try and find a plain notebook this size and everyone drew a blank as the ones available had hideous faux leather plasticky covers. These are just plain hardbacks and fit for purpose. As for the inspirational mottos, it seems a trend nowadays to stick them on everything. Please God it passes soon !

slightly pricey but solid quality

As a left handed fountain pen user I need high quality paper which a) doesn't bleed, b) dries quickly and c) writes smoothly. These notebooks deliver. I write mountains of notes in my role as a sales rep, mostly as mind maps and have to admit I'm a bit of a stationery fetishist. Up until now I have used the moleskine range, which look great to me and are nice to look at (I have a stack of eight on my desk right now). But they bleed fountain pen ink, which effectively means I have to just use one side for my notes. And they are nowhere near as smooth to write on - I'm using a Pelikan M800 gold nibbed pen and Pelikan Edelstein ink. Anyway, before this turns into a critique of the Moleskine let me say that the Black n' Red notebooks are the business. They're not as pleasant to look at or handle, but the quality is in the 90gsm paper. Highly recommended.

Great quality product at a great price. I'm using mine to keep a journal during lock down.

For all my planning, journaling and diaring efforts, I will look no further. Pristine white, high quality, non-bleed paper; hard covers (even a bit spillage-resistant); smart black-with-a-touch-of-red colours; and at £1.70 per notebook I still cannot believe what a bargain these were!

I bought the plain version of this A4 notebook and I love it. The paper inside feels very smooth, almost satin, and I was a bit worried that my ink would smudge (I use fineline drawing pens). But there hasn't been an issue. I love the quotes inside, I know some people didn't but I think they're great. I hardly ever review anything but thought this book was great and will serve its purpose as my design notebook well.

Rien à dire de spécial sur le cahier, mais attention : sur les photos on voit des lignes d'écriture, mais la version reçue contient des feuilles blanches vierges !

Tried this notebook on the recommendation of some friends in the UK. So far it's working wonderfully. I'm using various fountain pen inks in Pilot Parallel 2.4mm calligraphy pens. There's minimal ghosting and I've seen very few spots of bleedthrough.
