I purchased this after a freak accident of hearing something which sounded like a break in however it was just a cheap rod that fell in the middle of the night and scared me! This rod definitely is holding its weight so far as I have 3 panels of curtains 84inches and shower liner. The appearance is sleek and is compatible to use in my shower. I would recommend.

The spring in this 28 - 48 inch rod is good and strong, and the rubber ends are appropriately grippy. The screw mechanism that adjusts for length feels robust and smooth. But - the online description and the package directions are vague about the range of sizes this will fit. There's one middle piece, without rubber ends, that can be left in for a longer fit, or remover for a shorter fit. But for some in-between shower stall or window widths, neither one works. If so, you need to calculate how much to cut off this middle piece, using a hacksaw or similar metal-cutting tool. Your calculation and cut don't need to be precise - just within an inch or so, and the internal screw adjustment will get the rod to fit just right. So if you are a bit handy you will be happy with this bar. We have driven our RV a few thousand miles with this in the shower, usually with a few wet washcloths on it, and it has stayed put. And, if your dimension is one that the rod fits, you don't need to mess with the calculation and cutting, and you will be even happier.

Area to hang curtain was 37” W so this was an easy fix; worked well! Also walls freshly painted so did not want to mess up wall!

They are heavy duty, and seem well made. the only issue is the adjusting to fit requires a little more work then standard tension rod. You have to set the rough length first by adjusting the rod length. Then the final adjustment at the end. It took a little while to figure it out get it to work.

I was initially disappointed when I found the rod was too big for the space intended until I realised that the mid section could be taken out. It now fits perfectly and is rock solid with the weight of the curtain. Very happy with the result!
