This smoked paprika comes in a rather charming old fashioned tin which contains 70g of hot (picante) paprika from the La Vera region of Spain. It is great for adding a bit of a kick to stews or paella or as coating for chicken or pork. It has a rich smoky flavour which is more intense than other smoked paprika I have used from supermarkets and really does have quite a kick to it. At £6.99 for 70g it is a bit more expensive than supermarket paprika but I think it is probably worth it for the extra flavour and colour it imparts. Tastes Lovely!

Nice traditional tins of Spanish smoke paprika. This version is hot and adds a small amount of heat to the mix. It's the first time I've tried the combination of these flavours. Usually I will pick up a smoked paprika and a hot paprika.The quality seems good, and the tins are useful with a well sealed grate for direct application and a big open side for bigger portions.
