High quality matcha - Love the taste.
I waited until after I tried quite a bit of high quality matcha (from different brands) before I write this review. When I open the bag, matcha smell very nice and did not smell old. I normally make usucha with high quality grades like Kiyo Ritual, Imperial, FKRO Pinnacle Reserve, and FKRO Okumidori.The color of Tenryu is dark green. It froth well and taste very rich. I tasted bitterness more than umami. For aftertaste, creamy and bitterness last for a while. I actually agreed with the other reviewers that this matcha should be used for special occasionsI am very happy with Tenryu. I recommend this matcha.

Quality is superb! I tried the ceremonial vs the Imperial and there is hardly any difference so I'm staying with this one. Perfect, smooth, never bitter taste. Blend is finely ground and smooth. Nice size, lasts for about 2 weeks (I drink 1-2 cups a day). A bit pricey but work it because of the quality and tase. Super easy to use. I make mine with water.

Itโs too expensive. It has all the qualities people love about good matcha, but I can get Element Matcha $10 cheaper for 30 g and $20 cheaper for 100 g. It wasnโt THAT great. Thatโs all.

Bright green color
The macha went through my sifter with just a few shakes. The taste was above average to my liking. The matcha foamed well and the tea had a dark bright emerald color. I drink the matcha before exercising.
