Not comfortable at all, especially if Waring glass. Sound pretty good.

Excellent headphones from a name you can trust.
Excellent! The bass response is superb. Its so good I had to turn the bass boost down on the amp vs using normal speakers. Mids and highs sound extremely good as well. Ear cups are very comfortable, and headband fits well. Not too tight, not too loose. I ordered the universal version (a), but was shipped the iOS version (i). These i version will still work universally! I use these while stationary. If I were using these in a mobile environment, I would have a complaint in that the inline controls are a bit too close to the headphones themselves, literally about 5" away. So you will have to feel for them as they are out of sight. Used universally, they don't apply so it doesn't matter to me.

overall great product. Only complain is the aux cable is a little thin, which makes it feel cheep. But overall it's great.

If you expect to get well used headphones and case and also missing the cord . . .
I might have liked these if I had not been sent used headphones without a cord and a case that was well used. Very disappointing!

No question of JBL's standard of quality--nice cans!
These JBL headphones have excellent build quality, they do not feel flimsy or cheap. They have an on-ear design but are pretty comfortable during extended listening sessions--I've had more comfortable headphones, however. It does a good job of blocking out outside noise, one reason why many choose them--along with sound quality. Although around-the-ear headphones, obviously, offer the most noise reduction, this set does a good job. These JBL headphones also come with a nice carrying case, and they fold up fairly small for being big on-ear headphones. The cord is a great length for listening with mobile devices, and it's also detachable which is a plus. The three button universal remote will work just fine with Android and iPhones. I had my husband help me think this review through and use the headphones also, as he is actually a professional in the audio/video industry and has more of an ear for audio quality and a finer taste when it comes to...ahem...headphones! He designs sound systems and sells many expensive products such as headphones and speakers as well, he has even designed systems for famous musicians--so I figured he'd have more to say than I would! His comments were good ones, as for sound quality the sound is nice and even, not too bassy or bright. His one complaint when wearing the headphones, were that if his head were any bigger, they would not fit comfortably. My husband has an average man's head, it's never been described as large--so I'm guessing someone who does have a larger head *might* not like the fit as much? JBL is also a reputable brand, my husband knew of this company and says they've been around a long time and make good professional speakers. He also says this price point is competitive for retail, the quality matches the price very well. As for me, I have a much less distinguished ear and taste for headphones, but I have enjoyed listening to music with them. I don't like how bulky they are but I've never liked how bulky ANY on-ear headphones are. Still, I understand the benefits of on-ear headphones and if you're in the market for a new set and this one is in your price range, then I can't see any reason not to recommend them.

Great For Gaming; Should Satisfy All Casual Listeners; Affordable
I picked up a pair of these JBL headphones at another online retailer on sale for 40 bucks, so I'm not a verified buyer. Yeah, for the price - which seems to keep dropping every time I browse online - is great for what you get. They're well-built, comfortable, and the sound quality is really, really good, if not great. I'm still breaking them in. The bass and overall dynamics are still expanding, so to speak. But, they are pretty immersive right now and will probably only get better over the course of the next few weeks with more use. The usual accessories and features are present; there's a travel case; the headphones fold up to fit into said travel case; the cable is removable and has a tiny "T-shirt clip". The cable has the 3 button digital smartphone control with microphone: Volume Up/Down, Play/Pause, Skip Forward, and Activate Mic. The end that you plug into your device is the 3.5mm TRRS pin. The end that you plug into the headphones is the 2.5mm TRS pin. Yes, the end that you plug into your headphones is the SMALLER 2.5mm pin. I guess you can't get confused then as to which end goes where. Replacement cables with the 3 button control might be harder to find though since most have 3.5mm pins on both ends. PS4 gaming for hours on end and I have no discomfort. The MIC is compatible with the PS4 and sounds crystal clear when I tested it. My iPOD classic never sounded better. The smartphone features work perfectly with my LG G3 as does the microphone. Most regular folks who just want a pair of good over-the-ear headphones should be happy with these. The market is saturated, and finding a pair of near-audiophile-grade headphone for under 50 bucks is easy-peasy. Highly Recommended!!!

Great headphones for the price. I have been using them now for about 6 months and absolutely love them. I use them everyday, quality of sound is incredibly, only downside is lack of bass compared to beats but half the price. Good for DJs too, highly recommend.
