A 'must-read' for women ... of a certain age.
GREAT information for women! Also have and recommend her Hormone Repair Manual. Easy read - just enough science to help you understand how things work but not too much where you lose the plot. Love that there's an entire section on troubleshooting - VERY helpful!

Must buy this book!
This book is amazing & will change your life. I got it 2 days ago and I’m already halfway through- can barely put it down. After reading “Good energy” I realized I had metabolic syndrome. I also have Hashimotos & hypothyroidism.This is an amazing hand book for women and I am so happy I bought it!

Loose pages falling out of the binding
This is a great book, but the copy sent to me has a bunch of loose pages in it that aren’t attached in the binding.

Los libros de Lara Briden nunca decepcionan. El Period Repair Manual es un básico para toda mujer del planeta!!! El de la perimenpausia está bien pero este es fascinante. Muy completo. Muy riguroso. Un libro con herramientas de verdad. Un libro para ir al.origen de los problemas metabólicos. Epidemia mundial sin freno. Para todas las mujeres que buscan reparar si metabolismo, perder grasa porque es el metabolismo dañado lo que impide perder peso, recuperar energía y longevidad. Pensé que no aportaría mucho a lo que ya hay pero Briden siempre lo hace mejor😍

Excellent book, highly readable, up to date science
Excellent book, hugely helpful and readable! My only gripe is that some pages are loose, but I'm past the return window so will have to put up with pages falling out as I read! Not the author's fault, wholeheartedly recommend this book to any woman interested in healing her health via rebalancing her metabolism.

Compleet, voor insuline resistentie en PCOS
Als je last hebt van insuline resistentie, overgewicht en PCOS oa is dit een fantastisch boek! Dit boek geeft ontzettend veel informatie over de achtergrond hoe dit kan ontstaan. Hoe de hersenen "gehyjacked' kunnen worden door bepaalde stoffen die moedwillig in ons eten gestopt worden. Maar ook hoe je de macht kan terug pakken. Er worden hapklare handvaten gegeven om aan de slag te gaan met je eigen gezondheid. Heb je meer last van leaky gut, auto imuunziekte, bijnier uitputting/dysfunction van de HPA as/chronisch vermoeidheid en voedingstof tekorten. Dan ga je je antwoorden niet perse in dit boek vinden. Daarom 4 sterren. Voor mij zelf vond ik in dit boek niet de informatie waar ik naar op zoek ben.

Understanding my body to detach myself from the diet culture
loads of content, you are sciency or not, your questions will be answered. Accessible read. And for me, it is a great book to finally give the fingers to the diet culture.
