Fun and insightful for home or range practice
This is a super convenient and useful training tool to have available. It's very small and compact and comes with a sturdy protective case. Set-up is super easy, just make sure its charged and prop it up a few feet behind where you tee up the ball. Make sure you set the appropriate club because otherwise the numbers go out to lunch, but when setup correctly it measures fairly accurately, at least accurately enough to give a shot-to-shot delta. The most useful stat it gives to be is the smash factor, a measure of how well you hit the ball. I like to use this to compare one shot to the next and help me hone in on face contact improvements. I think this is much more useful than the raw yardage value it gives, especially when hitting into a practice net at home compared to on a range.

The feedback is a good way to adjust your timing.
I didn't need to track my shots, so the lite model was fine for me, although launch angle and club face position would have been nice. I like that part of the display is big, but swing speed and smash could be bigger. The beep is good feedback too. The case is solid, but the book could use some more information about what you're seeing. The tape measure is clumsy and almost useless, but if you measure your shoe length you can step off your distance instead and mark both places on the ground. Setting the device for the club you are using is a little confusing too. W1 for driver seems like it should be for a wedge. I would prefer the device be rechargeable than using batteries. All and all, this device is helpful to improve swing speed and timing so that you have a purpose when on the driving range.

No idea how useful my smash factor is, but like this monitor
This is a great intro into the launch simulator world. They've become super popular as a training aide and it's nice to see more entry level ones hit the market. This one is great in that it's not much bigger than a range finder so easy to keep in the bag and ready to use anytime. If you have to setup a pole, a phone app, and a bunch of other stuff you'll never use it. Really nice to help dial in club distances and knowing a more accurate swing speed is helpful if you're changing shafts or want to improve on certain clubs. Smash factor is a calculated score that's kind of fun, but not really useful for basic needs. Measuring the accuracy against the range and a range finder seems within a couple of yards. Also, if you're trying to use your range finder and dial in clubs, as long as you keep everything consistent, this becomes even more useful. Definitely recommend.

Small, easy to use, works well
This device comes in a nice hard-shell case and included a tape measure to help ensure proper placement. It also comes with 4 AA batteries needed to power the unit as well as a clear, well written instruction sheet. The unit has buttons on each side. On one side is the power button/down button, while the other side has audio toggle/up button. You use the up/down buttons to cycle through which club you are using - I would have preferred a dial for this as it would likely have been faster to select the right club.I set it up in my backyard, placing the ball 8' from the net with the launch simulator 5' behind as instructed and hit away. Because this is calculating carry (distance before the ball hits the ground), it's a little hard to be sure how accurate it is, but it seems close. For example, I usually hit my 5 iron 160 yards (don't laugh) in total. Swinging on a broken left ankle, the simulator showed a distance of 125 yards, which seems about right. One thing this will be useful for is dialing in the carry of each clubs so I'll know if I can clear water hazards. The display also shows club speed and "smash factor (ball speed/club speed) - club speed may be useful to dial in pitches and chips. Smash factor has no obvious benefit because I don't have any idea.I've taken off a star because the ad says this measures "launch angle, apex and spin which it does NOT do.

Easy to keep with you
This a fun golf item for sure. I tested it against one my father has. They both came out with similar results most of the time. And really for the size difference I liked mine better. It has a mute option if you want no sound. I wish it did tell you your distance out loud but its not hard to look back at it. It seems to have good performance and is easy to use. They give you a paper tape measure to show how far back it should be. Thats really helpful and takes up no space in the case. Its very portable. I am not sure of how accurate it is but its within a close enough range that im happy with it.

Decent for the price
The data on this launch monitor is mostly accurate. It is a good simple launch monitor for the money. There are issues when topping balls or slicing where it doesn’t give accurate readings, however this is also the case with some other more expensive monitors. Overall for the money I would say it is a good buy.

Good budget monitor
This launch monitor is missing a lot of features more expensive monitors have, but for what it does it does seem to be pretty accurate. Battery life is good and it's set up is easy and very portable

Awesome
IZZO is a brand name I recognize, so when I saw this Launch Master, I became interested and decided to order. First impression was the packaging, very high end which is a good sign. I carefully open and unit came in a very nice zippered case. Unit is small easily fits in the palm of your hand. The unit feels like durable construction with a large backlit LED display and has audio feature that can be turned off. You turn it on, select the club your using, adjust the back stand, line it up with your ball 5' back, and swing. It's that easy and gives you your smash factor, club head speed, and yardage. Worked great for my tests, I'm wondering how it will work if I used playing my next round if can better help my locate a ball I lose sight of during flight, hoping I can just travel the yard reading on the meter and look in that general area and find my ball (I always seem to look further that I likely hit my ball). I have a weighted half length club and it will track club head speed and calculate smash factor just practice swinging with not ball. Add some fun to practicing too trying to increase smash factor, club head speed, and distance. Love it. Fast shipping
