Good ground coffee from Africa.
Very good coffee. This is GROUND --- NOT BEANS.

I am a big fan of Volcanica's, and this is one of my favs.
Intense. Fills your entire palate with delightful flavor. That volcanic terroir really adds depth. You gotta try this.

Great flavor but way too finely ground
I was lucky to live on Kauai for a couple of years. The single largest coffee plantation in the United States is located there. That is when I first learned and came to love peaberry coffee. Now itโs my preferred coffee. This is the second Iโve tried from Tanzania and they couldnโt be more different. This is way too finely ground for drip/pour over/french press brewing. It makes for a muddy coffee experience albeit still with great flavor. If youโre looking for a great espresso grind this is for you. If not, there are better options.

Smooth and delicious
Delicious, smooth and fresh coffee. A very reasonable price for the coveted peaberry. Would buy again.

Delicious
Naturally sweet, but not overly sweet. Very smooth and fresh.

Not fresh and tasted stale. Not recommended
The worst coffee I ever tasted. I bought this thinking it would be good but the product came stale and not fresh. I rarely buy ground coffee because of that reason but once in a while you'll come across one that just doesn't hit the spot. I prefer to buy whole bean, but even those sometimes you can't trust. I would not recommend buying this type of coffee from them. Try another brand.

Lovely Coffee overall
I am trying out a number of different varieties offered by Volcanica Coffee company, and I have not been disappointed with any of them. They all are fresh, flavorful, and a better grade of coffee all around than the more "common" brands. The Tanzania Peaberry is no exception, and is fantastic when just made. The only critique I can offer is that if you let it sit on the warmer for about an hour, I got a trace of bitterness there but that is to be expected. There are some nice lighter flavor elements to this coffee that you are not going to get with just "regular" coffee, and yes, I drink "regular" coffee too. I do find with time, I am drinking more of the Volcanica Coffee though, and I am enjoying it.

Good flavor but grind caused bitterness
I accidentally ordered ground instead of whole bean. Sadly this is too fine of a grind for coffee. This is closer to an espresso grind and I thought the coffee had some bitterness as a result. I use a Mocamaster brewer and normally have excellent results with a coarse grind.
