desertcart.com: Envo Pro N95 Respirator Kit Inluding Headgear, 3 Individually Packed Filters, Easy Transport and Storage Case, Sleepnet (70825) : Tools & Home Improvement Review: Very Impressed - I purchased this mask as a COVID precaution that I wanted to take on an extended, overnight train ride. The ride was two way, 13 hours in each direction, and I am very satisfied with the experience wearing and sleeping in this mask. The Pros: • This mask is extremely comfortable for extended wear. The gel is soft and doesn't eat lines into the skin of your face. You can sense with your skin when the seal is solid or not. A fit test showed no airflow/leakage around the seal. • Surprising breathability through the filter! I had no issue with excess moisture or condensation, though there wasn't a big temperature discrepancy between the inside or outside of the mask. • This might be a con for some, but another pro for me was the little bit of a challenge to install the filter into the respirator frame. That just means it's sealed in the frame solidly, and I appreciate that. However, it means really getting in there with your fingers to remove the filter, and if it's contaminated, you need to take the extra steps to keep clean and protect yourself. • I did not contract COVID from this aforementioned risky train ride. There is no way to know for certain if there was actually someone with an acute infection in the packed train car, but there was a lot of coughing going on—regardless I felt safe and confident in this product. The Cons: • My face is just barely large enough to fit in this mask with a solid seal. It's definitely designed for medium and larger adults, especially men. • The top/ridge above the nose blocks the lower-center half of your view to a much greater degree than a disposable N95. If you want to look down at your phone, you need to hold it to the left or right of your face and look at it with one eye. Or hold the phone higher and bow your head. Could be annoying to some, or irritate one's neck, shoulders, eyes, or something else. • For the price I think the strap should be more solid. It does come with an extra spare, but I'd rather have one sturdy strap. Reading other people's reviews, I am treating the strap gently from the get go to extend its life the most, and so far I don't see any wear and tear. • Though it's comfortable, I think the design of the strap could be improved with two more spots to cinch the strap. There's only a single clip at the back of the neck, which unfortunately allows the mask to slide up and down the parts of the strap that descending from the crown of the head. There should be smaller clips just below the bottom loops of the mask (through which you string the strap). This would allow the wearer to adjust the length of the strap that sits above the ear, and adjust how high the mask sits on the face. Would be more convenient and comfortable for those with a smaller face. I am looking for my own clips to add to the strap, but can't find anything small enough yet. Overall I am glad that I invested in this higher quality mask, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is COVID conscious and/or lives with someone who is vulnerable to disease. Review: Not that comfortable and too hot - This is not worth the cost. The disposable n95 masks are much more comfortable and breathable. This mask is heavy and causes you to sweat around the face contact points. Just not worth it.

Not that comfortable and too hot
This is not worth the cost. The disposable n95 masks are much more comfortable and breathable. This mask is heavy and causes you to sweat around the face contact points. Just not worth it.

More comfortable than disposables
I've mostly relied on disposable masks up to now, with the exception of the replaceable dual filter 3M half face. Compared to that, this is much more comfortable and portable. It's also a bit easier to clean, though slightly more cumbersome to assemble. For my face, the 3-panel folding style was the most comfortable for longer periods but even those would start to be difficult to maintain a seal around my nose without causing pain or pinching my nose shut. The thick gel padding around this mask is wonderful. It's got a little bit of a cooling effect which is great. Being thick and soft makes it more comfortable while also keeping a better seal than anything else I have used as well. I don't struggle anymore with the seal in the corners of my nose and since the padding is so wide and flexible, it even keeps the seal with a little bit of stubble which is great for long-haul international flights. Since it keeps the seal at my nose and the filter sits further from my face than disposables, I don't have issues anymore with my glasses fogging. I wear pretty short lens frames so the mask doesn't interfere with my glasses, but users with taller frames may encounter issues. Cleans easily wiped down with water dish soap, but disassembly and even more so assembly can be a bit difficult in trying to line up all the pegs into the holes of the frame. The strap can also sometimes be annoying to thread through the clamp, but none of these are much more than minor annoyances. While the upfront cost feels a little pricey, the replacement filters are a pretty good value compared to name-brand disposables. For me, it's definitely worth it for the comfort and the step up in quality even over the name-brand respirators.

Useful and necessary for safety. But not especially comfortable.
I like this product, and will use it again. I wore it when sanding furniture, walls and other work that required household electric tools. I also wore it when cleaning out a dusty old attic room, and I shutter to think what I may have inhaled had I not been wearing the respirator. Unfortunately, I didn't find it sufficiently comfortable to wear while performing other dusty household tasks. That is not a major complaint; such commonplace activities are not what a respirator is meant for. The other quibble I have is that the directions for use were not helpful, especially when I was adjusting the mask for comfort. I did figure the issue out, but I would have valued more written or online directions.

A big improvement over the orignal Envo
The orignal Envo mask has a hard frame, and fits a limited number of people. The frame of the Pro is more flexible, and this mask fits me, unlike the original envo. However, I haven't run an OSHA fit test yet, so I can only say that I don't feel any obvious leaks. So far, I find the Pro comfortable. The gel seal works better than I expected, but it feels delicate. And speaking of the gel seal feeling delicate, when you change filters you have to struggle to fit the filter on pointy pegs on the frame, and every time I do it I worry one of those pegs is going to puncture the gel seal as I try to bend it to fit the filter. If the seal was a regular elastomeric I wouldn't worry about that happening, but with the super thin film plastic covering the gel seal material I do. It doesn't fee durable. Overall I like this mask so far. However, I find it difficult to change the filters and wouldn't feel comfortable, say, gifting one to an elderly friend or relative because of how fiddly it is to change the filters.
