The Candellila was arrived and looked or smelled nothing like Candellila wax! Candellila has a certain scent and whatever was delivered smells nothing like! Will need to do a return

MSDS document is not available so probably not suitable for cosmetic use. We can't tell as the seller offers an 'exemption sheet for hazardous chemicals' when asked for documents. Better to purchase from reputable suppliers who do hold batch numbers, msds etc. in our opinion. We will be returning just in case this is not what it says it is, sorry.

This wax does not behave like any candelilla wax I have used before. It is pale, not yellow like it should be and it smells bad. I have had to throw products away because of this wax, it has cost me time and money I won't get back. Buy your wax from FreshSkin or The Soapary instead - these are companies you can trust.

It’s absolutely perfect for my needs. I can’t use beeswax due to allergies and needed something to make my tallow lip balm solid at room temperature. This worked like a dream. When I opened the package I thought the product smelled terrible, possibly rancid. I used some in a small test batch of lip balm and the smell was completely unnoticeable in the final product.
