From my experience with it so far it's a very nice 2K monitor with nice colours out of the box and great contrast, especially for the price (<250$ CAD). I was apprehensive about trying another VA panel from previous experience with ghosting, but this one is barely noticeable when looking for it and inexistent in practice. I picked up the AOC Q27G4XN for my second setup, and I’ve been really impressed so far. For the price, this monitor delivers a lot more than I expected. SETUP AND FIRST IMPRESSIONS Right out of the box, setup was quick and easy. The stand is sturdy and lets you adjust the height, tilt, and swivel, which makes a big difference if you use it for long sessions. The overall build feels solid and not flimsy like some other budget monitors. DISPLAY AND PERFORMANCE The 27-inch screen with 2560x1440 (2K QHD) resolution looks sharp and clear for both games and everyday use. Colors are bright, and I didn’t notice any dead or bright pixels. The 180Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time make games look super smooth, and Adaptive-Sync keeps things free of tearing or stutter. I tested it with both a PC and an Xbox, and had no issues—HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort both worked as expected.
