Not as good as the previous model
I bought these as a replacement and an upgrade from the pioneer curly wired sport headphones, they do stay in the ear but where the wire comes out irritates the ear after awhile and in winter if you wear a hat over your ears it will push in more making them uncomfortable... the previous model had the wire coming from the bottom of clip around the ear which kept it out of the way , they are much lighter than it’s predecessor and the ability to take a call is a useful improvement however without the curly wire movement is reduced and the wire seems to tangle more easily, lastly is the build quality they feel cheaper and are I got them caught in my hand break and they pulled apart, personally speaking I would take the extra weight for better quality... so following this I have ordered a pair of the curly wired ones the previous model which seems not to be in production anymore and only a few remain my advice is to buy the previous version while you can and hope pioneer correct the issues with a newer model

A poor follow-up to the previous design.
Really wanted to like these after enjoying the previous iteration (SRE71?) so much.Sadly this new model is going in the bin after a week of use. The design is smaller and lighter than the old version, and though that sounds like a good thing... It means these headphones don't fit me securely anymore. The hooks are weebly.None of the three included sizes of in-ear tip allow a snug fit anymore. Even the smallest is too large and means they slide out fairly quickly, especially when running. Combined with the feeble ear hooks and these headphones just end up hanging off my ears, music inaudible..I also miss the short section of coiled wire below the earpiece. It absorbed (really well) any tug or movement of the cable during exercise and prevented the earpiece being pulled out.In summary, these headphones might look similar to the old ones, but that's where similarities end. Functionally, and in my experience, they're crap.Having said that, everyone's ears are slightly different and perhaps yours will be the right size and shape to be better suited to this new model design. But, If you're used to the old, discontinued version, and are expecting the same experience with this new one... You may well be disappointed.

Previous fan of Pioneer headphones let down by this latest iteration
I was really disappointed by this product. I have owned the predecessor set of Prioneer sports headphones (the ones with the curly spring-like wire), they were durable and with a reasonable fit and sound quality (plus they lasted 2.5yrs). These are nothing like, the fit is awkward and the sound is tinny, plus the remote doesn't have a volume control. The build quality feels flimsy and definitely not worth £30.

Bulky and uncomfortable to wear
I normally buy cabled Philips over-ear headphones because the shape of the earhook is comfortable and because I don't want the faff of having to recharge them. However I couldn't get hold of a set with a mic/remote, so thought I would try these instead. The Pioneer over-ear hooks are big and bulky compared to my Philips headphones (see photos - Pioneer in grey, Philips in orange). I feel really self-conscious wearing the Pioneer headphones and they are generally uncomfortable to wear after just a few minutes. The in-ear piece is so big and long it goes too far into your ear, right up to your ear drum. If you wear anything over the headphones (e.g. a hat), it presses the in-ear piece against your ear drum, which isn't good for your hearing. Even when you remove the over-ear hooks, the in-ear piece still goes too far into your ear. Sound quality is decent for the price, however I am going to stop using these headphones and look elsewhere for something more comfortable.

sound qualty
Storage of the product can be difficult. You feel the ear-hooks will snap if stored in your pocket etc. It could do with a simple case.

Good
Apart from it being pricey I really like these earphones it would be nice if there was a volume button on the earphones
