Well worth the money! This trash can was on the pricier side, but I am so glad i decided to buy it. It is heavy duty and the quality is excellent. It can handle heavy use as the construction in so sturdy. The square design fits nicely in corners and the can is easy to clean. The swinging lid works perfectly and I have had no issues. Highly recommend this for anyone in need of a durable, high-capacity trash container!

I was so happy to find the Rubbermaid Commercial Products Square Trash container, I have a weird closet that I put my trash can in, that has five walls -- so the shape is very odd and it's hard to get a container that is not too large and not too small to fit into this area.This can tapers, having a smaller foot-print than the top of the can, it fit perfectly in my weird closet in the kitchen! So glad to have ordered this can! The can is very heavy and durable and should last for years and years. The can also came with a lid! So this is a plus-plus!If you need a nice heavy-duty trash can, I would highly recommend that you look into this product. I'm very happy that I ordered the Rubbermaid Commercial Products Square Trash can and I'm leaving five happy stars for it.

This is a nice size garbage can to use in my kitchen at home. I have a corner spot that this fits nicely in and prevents being able to start garbage up to the ceiling. I'm always happy with Rubbermaid products they perform well, are sturdy and easy to clean. I feel like I got a great price compared to prices in big box stores. It looks nice and is versatile it's lightweight enough for me to pop the lid off and move it around the kitchen for scooping scraps and whatnot off the counter.

If you had told me a year ago that I would gladly pay $65 for a trash can, I certainly would have laughed. But that’s because I hadn’t came across this gem from Rubbermaid yet. It is slim, attractive, durable, easy to handle and most importantly, it holds a significant amount of waste. So far, I am quite enamored!

I kind of snickered at the review that was so in love with this trash can but now I'm just another giddy happy consumer. I didn't want to spend so much money on a trash can...I didn't want to buy a trash can. But I lost the flap part of my old one a long time ago and the smell and fruit flies convinced me to do so. This is replacing my kitchen can that sits between my stove and wall. I love this can! It's tall with a nice square shape. No more misses and no more splatters on the wall. The lid fits nice and tight. I used to use the 30 gal flex bags which are wide but they are too short for this can. I bought 40+ gal lawn & leaf bags which fit great and don't slide back inside.

Needed a new trash can for my kitchen with a more enclosed top that wasn't a step can and still had good capacity. This looked like it might fit the bill and I've never had a problem in the past with Rubbermaid trash cans so I gave it a shot. The flaps on the lid that keep the trash covered are weighted just right to allow trash to be placed inside with out too much resistance while securely closing every time. The can is tall enough my dogs can't just stick their noses in and there is no step-to-open mechanism they can figure out allowing them to rummage through the trash. It's easy to change out the bags and they are held securely in place so you don't have to worry about it falling down inside. It took a few bags before I got the right balance when securing the bags. If you pull them too tightly they will get a small cut in them and end up tearing when you go to remove it, too loosely and they will slide down into the can. There is a pretty forgiving range though and its easy once you do it a few times. Clean up is easy with most messes wiping off with little effort. I just need to get my kids trained to be able to put things into the can without smearing sticky messes onto the flaps. Overall it has exceeded my expectations and I'm sure getting my kids used to the new can won't take more than a few days.

I’m using this in my kitchen as I have a big household so we tend to accumulate a lot of trash. It’s much better than any other trash can we’ve used before. Very sturdy, bigger capacity. We’ve had many compliments from guests!

Looks good and I like that it comes with the lid—many of the larger garbage cans don’t, you have to buy them separately—but it’s HUGE. I’ll keep it, because luckily it fits where I want it as a recycling bin.
