Good premium matcha
This matcha was really nice. I think it's very drinkable! The color was vibrant green, although it wasn't acid lime green like the freshest matcha straight from Japan would be. It's perfectly good for drinking alone without sugar though.

Husband liked it
It's a great matcha and easy to use too as it seems like a type of thing that takes skill or some knowledge to use but it is super simple and has turned out well whenever I make something for him. Excellent quality

Nice matcha powder
I have tried and loved other teas (both loose leaf and bag) from Revival so I was eager to try their matcha and was overall pleased! I like that the matcha comes in a resealable tin which makes it much easier to deal with than matcha that comes in bags, but there really should be an inner seal on the package for freshness and to keep the powder contained before it is opened. Mine did not leak into the plastic outer wrap, but it did coat the lid and the threads inside the lid and around the rim of the container - an inner seal would keep things contained and properly sealed until ready to enjoy. It was slightly bitter but not overly bitter - really enjoyable in a matcha latte - I mixed 3g of matcha with 30 ml of heated water and whisked it, then added 3/4C of heated whole milk and some brown sugar syrup (sugar or honey would be great too) - delicious and the matcha does not get lost in the taste!

Good Premium Grade Matcha
This is a good premium grade matcha. Flavor is nice and mild and didn't seem bitter in the slightest to me compared to lower grade matcha that I've had. There were a good many small round clumps at the top of the container that didn't whisk in well when I prepared it but outside of the mouthfeel of them as the clumps were sipped up, no other issue with the matcha itself. The container could be better, while I didn't have any come out of the sealed container while it was closed, there's always some stuck around the inner rim of the lid and the outer rim of the container while opening it up (though tapping the top of the container like the package says to setting the matcha usually doesn't result in a tiny bit falling out, usually). The color is vibrant, nice taste and no bitterness to me. Really good on its own, good value for the price.

Nice matcha!
This is a nice matcha. It has a very earthy, slightly bitter taste, which is to be expected from matcha. Per the company, this is supposed to be a premium grade matcha that is harvested from Japan, and of course, Japan is considered to be the gold standard when it comes to producing matcha. The only few things I’ve noticed is that this matcha, for some reason, remains a little clumpy even after thoroughly mixing and sifting it. So, when I’m drinking it, I get occasional clumps of concentrated matcha, which isn’t the most pleasant. Lastly, not that it’s reflected in my rating, but I feel like the company could consider the presentation/packaging of their product a bit more especially given that it’s a premium matcha. When I received mine, a decent amount of the powder had leaked from the tin and was all spread underneath the plastic wrap around the tin. This is because there isn’t an inner seal inside the tin, so the powder gets everywhere. As such, consumers lose some matcha in the process, and at only one ounce, every bit counts. Overall, as mentioned, it’s a nice matcha, and I’ll definitely finish it, but it didn’t necessarily make it to the top of my best matcha list.

No Seal
Powder leaking out even with the outer plastic layer still on it. The container isn't sealed.

Clumpy
Not good. There tin was sealed but there was like no sealing between the lid and product so some green tea powder came out. It was clumpy. There are better options.

Good
This premium japanese matcha powder is bright green - which indicates that this is a good quality matcha. And it does create a bold tasting matcha that tastes great as green tea or as matcha latte.
