Either Home depot and Lowes are severely overcharging for toilets or I got the best deal in townI just ordered the most inexpensive toilet I could find.I am super happy with it and it's great quality. I couldn't have asked for more. Super easy install and im greatfulHighly recommended

I manage a motel with 43 toilets. With hard water we have to replace toilet bowls, and just the bowls, every few years (at least until I get a water softener system installed). Though I have certainly experienced different tank setbacks from one bowl to another, this is the first bowl I've bought that has a different bolt pattern. The industry standardizes the bolt pattern of toilet seats (or seem to) and standardizes the bolt pattern of bowls to mounting flanges, why can they not standardize bolt patterns for bowls. There is no real engineering reason why not. I'm sure this is a great bowl for the RIGHT tank. Shipping was GREAT and about the best packaged I've ever seen, but oh how frustrating to adapt this bowl to my current tank patterns.

American Standard makes good products. That is why I ordered this (it was also a good price). However. I knew I was in trouble when I moved the box and heard tinkling sounds from inside. The outer shipping box was in very good shape. When I opened it, the packing was also in good shape. When I lifted the inner box out porcelain chips started falling out of the box. One end of the inner box was broken open and looking inside I realized that the front half of the bowl was scattered and scattered as small pieces in the bottom of the box. That does not make for a very functional toilet.Because the outer box and the packing were in good shape, I suspect that the toilet was already broken when it was packed, although I can not prove that. If that is the case someone needs to be doing better product packaging. American Standard is a good company, whoever packed this needs to live up to their standards.The good news is that it was very easy to return.
