Vienna Lomo Notebook Hardcover – January 1, 2010

I have a Lomo LC-A film camera which I bought back in the 80's and is still working. Like the Lomography followers I mostly used it for street photography, but in my case I mostly shot black and white using Ilford XP-1 "pushed" to ISO 1600. I really enjoyed this book which showed what else I could have done with colour! This book reminds us again that photography, as always, is about timing, use of lighting, spontaneity, imagination, empathy and other such human things - not what equipment you are using. The book also includes useful DIY tips in the simpler repairs which may be required to the camera. I bought my copy of this book at £8 delivered, and am very pleased but I'm not sure if I would have enjoyed it at some of the crazy prices I've seen listed since!

Nice view on some modern photography. Not your classic coffee table volume, but colourful and load.
