Helps on our deck to control nuisance flying bugs, and continues to work well even after several heavy rainstorms. Appears to be a good value for the money so far. Can’t comment yet on longevity.

It really does a great job

I am happy with my bug zapper as it helps eliminate bugs enter my home through my entrance doors.

Does the job dont always need that light on, bugs popping sound like popcorn and scare the family dog but he’s gotten used to it

Some pestering bugs have been flying inside my home for more than a week. At first, I thought they were gnats. Upon closer inspection and comparing them with images of bugs online, they looked more like fruit flies. I ordered a bug zapper, hoping to rid them as painlessly as possible. I had it on for about two days and caught two fruit flies. These two fruit flies were zapped only when I put the zapper right next to a salad bowl with many fruit flies buzzing around. After this disappointing result, I went back to spraying them with isopropyl 70% alcohol, and when they dropped down, I quickly ended their existence. I had no choice since the later I killed them, the more they reproduced. When this bug zapper came about five days ago, less than a dozen were still flying around.I use this bug zapper indoors only to get rid of bugs that invade my home because I cannot think of any other choice. My experience is that if I do not find a way to kill them as fast and painlessly as possible, they will reproduce and multiply rapidly, requiring me to kill even more. However, indiscriminately killing all bugs living in their natural environment because some are bothering me is not my way of life. I put it on the kitchen counter next to the sink, which was the location where these fruit flies like to gather. I turned it on and closed the blinds. After two days and two nights, I counted at least ten dead fruit flies. While writing this review, I swatted one with my hand, but there was no sight of any others. This bug zapper has helped me dispose of these fruit flies as humanely as possible; therefore, with gratefulness, I recommend it, hopefully for indoor use only.

This small bright bug zapper is a little bit shorter than other zappers of comparable price, but do not let that fool you. This light really takes out the skeeters! Day and night, I can hear the gratifying snap meaning one fewer mosquito that wants to eat me. It's very light, so hang it where it won't hit anything while hanging. The version I got has an extra light at the bottom, and there is a switch to turn it off and just have the zapper going. It can seem bright at night, so that option is nice. I can see it through my drapes at night. The power cord is a decent length, even though we still use an extension cord rated for outside because of plug location. Although the picture makes it look flimsy, it is lightweight but durable thus far. I feel more confident going into my yard with this little zapper going. It is an effective tool to reduce the number of all flying bugs.

I’m not sure why but there’s been an influx of flys this summer and we have the little plug in the wall with the sticky pads which typically works just fine but with the increase in flys this has really come in handy!! It’s been zapping away flys that make their way in when the door gets opened. You can also hear the zapping which is rather satisfactory. It’s nice and bright. We’ve kept it on 24hours a day for the past 2-3 weeks without any issues. Very easy to clean. It doesn’t take up too much space either so size is good. Very happy. Must have for sure!

On/off switch operates intermittently and the remote sometimes works, but only if you're within 2ft of the zapper.It appears upon opening box, this is a returned or used unit!

Funciona perfecto y ha matado una infinidad de insectos donde la pongas, yo tengo la version con control remoto y es excelente porque asi la puedes apagar oo encender sin tener que salir a donde estan los moscos.

No sirve, no atrae insectos, ni teniendo la lámpara a 20cm de uno. Intentaré buscar un mejor foco pero no pierdan el dinero con esta lámpara, mejor invertir en algo mejor aunque cueste mas.
