Although they call it a "Starry Night" night light it actually comes with three screens, Stars, Dinosaurs and Unicorns. They are all nested together under the opaque dome, they aren't separated by so much as a bit of tissue so you need to separate them quite carefully when you first set it up.Once you've selected and fitted the screen you can use it either as a simple glow light with the opaque dome in place or as a projector light, to be honest it works best as a projector and most kids are going to want that anyway. There are a variety of different light modes essentially being single, double or triple colour.They all look good in single colour and not bad with two but when using anything more than one colour the figures like dinosaurs and unicorns can get a little confused as they are being projected from multiple light sources and overlap a lot, with three lights you can't really see the figures.However, with the starry night screen you get the opposite effect, the multiple light sources actually work brilliantly with it and you end up with a ceiling filled with multicoloured stars and moons gently moving around the room, it's incredibly effective and I'm sure kids will love it.At the current price of £11.99 I'd say it's very good value.
