where is this product made?

If you receive the part #1329467 243, it will be made in USA.  But you may also get a part # made in India or another part made in China.  Researching this, I found that Henkel has factories in both countries and labels the Loctite 243 with different part #s respectively.  I also called the US factory, who would only say the US version is the only North American authorized supplier, but would not say if the others were counterfeit, despite repeatedly asking, they just dodged the question.  I took this to mean it is legitimate in those areas for distribution, but not N/A.
My version had a sticker on the bottle marked 1329467, covering the Indian part # printed on the bottle.  They also have different pictures on the bottle for each country.  The product worked great for my automotive application on a 14mm bolt/nut.  It was thick, applied easily and stayed in place for the most part.  It set up within the hour.  I also had to remove the nut the next day and the Loctite performed as expected, dragging the nut all the way to the end of the threads, similar to the metal deformation locknut that it replaced.  Good product at reduced cost, would not hesitate in the future to use.

What's difference between 243 & 242?

243 cures a little faster and is a little less sensitive to how clean the surface is. A better choice than 242 for medium strength applications.

Yes, you can remove fasteners with ordinary hand tools. 243 has the same functional characteristics as 242 that most threadlocker users are familiar with…with a major exception. 242 requires a clean, dry, non-greasy surface on both items being connected. They also need to be made of ferous materials, e.g., steel. 243 works with items of any material—e.g., plastic, brass, aluminum, etc.—and is less picky of surfaces being perfectly clean. It's as good a threadlocker as old reliable 242, but much more versatile. I am very happy with it!
