Soldering flux Liquid 50ml oiler- SMD/RMA No Clean,Reflow, Rework, Reball RF800

used this flux for a test project to see how well it would work and was very surprised with the results it does in fact leave no mess like stated made some very nice solder joints using lead free solder which i was surprised at as i have used other types of flux that has not done well with lead free solder in the past very easy to spread it come with a built in brush for pasting it on which is very nice would love this in a bigger quantity if they made it that is but very happy with the results

This flux is really thin and spreads easily. The brush applicator works nicely. It doesn't leave any residue. It doesn't obscure the part at all unlike the thicker gel flux. Because it's thin you have the minimum quantity of flux covering the part so you don't get a lot of fumes. The only downside is that the tall but light bottle is really easy to knock over causing a spillage! So you have to make sure you screw up the bottle after each and every application.

Works well enough and decent value for money ( I think most flux is over-priced for what it is). It is a little too liquid for my liking and it can be difficult to be sure it has wetted the surface I am trying to prepare for soldering. However it does work. With it being so fluid there is no waste unlike many other flux types which tend to be so thick you can't help but put too much on and the excess will inevitably burn away with the soldering iron for no benefit to me. I haven't used it a lot but enough to convince me to keep using it over my usual flux. If I find something a little bit thicker I will most probably move to using that.

An absolute must if doing rework!

Used this for soldering wires to SMD LEDs, an almost impossible task without using flux. I was using flux paste, which is perfectly fine, but wanted to try liquid flux as it makes it a lot easier to see the soldering point. It is as described, the correct bottle with the right label was delivered and the applicator brush was included. It didn’t evaporate before the wires could be soldered on as some other reviewers had noted, it worked brilliantly and made the job easy. Would recommend and will buy again.
