I use a small brush that comes in a hair dye pkg, just put a dab (or how much you want) and paint my hair wherever I want to. It dries nicely. If you are going to get dressed, get dressed before you apply so it doesn't smear onto your clothes. I have not had trouble with it transferring onto clothing or the pillow. But let it dry before that could happen. I also have the can, container or whatever it is the same brand that I apply in the same way. I like that too, but I find that this bottle container stays on the hair longer. I don't need to apply it ever day or even every other day, or even longer. I use it as a hair highlighter, as I don't like my hair to be all one color from dying my hair. Plus to actually highlight my hair the conventional way is worthless as every time you dye the hair, the highlights gets ruined. SO I AM VERY HAPPY WITH THIS BOTTLE, and hope they always make it! The photo has both copper (from the can), and bold gold (the item this review is about).

I don’t like it. Shipping was fine but my hair feels really crunchy and the wax just kind of sits on top of it. I have 3C/4a hair that I wear naturally curly. I suppose it’s nice for a change but your hair won’t necessarily look dyed. I won’t buy this again. I understand why it’s hard to find in stores.

Unfortunately I was sent the wrong color. I ordered Gold but was sent Copper. However, I decided to keep and use the product anyway. I actually adore this product and it's so easy to use once you get the hang of it! It's best if you wear a shirt or towel you don't mind getting stained as if you were using actual permanent hair dye. I have 3a-b dark brown curly hair. I style my hair like usual and end with a normal curl gel while wet. I let my hair air dry and diffuse until damp. Then I flip my hair upside down, squeeze some of this color curl cream into my palms and spread it out on them and scrunch focusing most of the color on the ends. I wash my hands with soap to get the color off with my hair still upside down and finish diffusing like that. Once it's pretty dry, I flip my head back up straight. This way I have had basically no transfer or mess! The key is really diffusing the color so it dries. I also wear a satin bonnet every night to protect my curls anyway so I have no issues with transfer. I recommend this for anyone with 3b curls and up...I'm not sure if the effect or longevity is as nice on straight, wavy, or very loosely curled hair. And definitely use a bonnet!

Does everything it claims. Covers level 2 dark brown natural hair beautifully. Washes out & leaves no traces. 10/10, would recommend.

It was mid. The color wasn’t as bright and the tube was small.

i love how much coverage it gave for it being just one bottle. my hair is really thick so i was worried if one would be enough and it worked really well and the color was so pretty. made my curls really stand out, plus it wash out easily when i wanted to take it off so that was a plus. was able to wear it for several days with no issues, but definitely wear a bonnet so it doesn’t get everywhere.

i love the color so much and it has zero smell, i also have really really dark brown hair almost black so it showed up really good on my hair!!! i didn’t use the whole bottle so i didn’t apply as much. i used gloves and does not stain your hands also not sticky
