Dr. Mercola Fisetin and Spermidine, 125 mg, 30 Capsules (30 Servings)

I took this daily for 30 days without any negative side effects. When I ordered it, I was primarily looking at the spermidine aspect, not understanding fisetin's benefits. I think the supplement is of great quality and you should definitely look into it, but keep the following in mind: 1. Spermidine content is low in comparison to other supplements that only contain spermidine. Most other spermidine supplements have more than 4 times the amount of this formulation. 2. Fisetin content is relatively generous when compared to other supplements on the market. It is almost double of other fisetin supplements I've taken in the past. 3. Both fisetin and spermidine are expensive ingredients and deliver very similar benefits. The price tag reflects the cost of ingredients and the high-quality standard this brand is known for. If you're looking for a fisetin supplement, this is a great option. The little bit of spermidine included is also welcomed. I enjoyed taking it. I included this as part of over 20 supplements I take daily and it was a great addition. PS: I forgot to take pictures before I finished my bottle, but it should be noted that the supplement is sold in a glass bottle (very nice!).

I wanted to try this because it claims to supports cognition, longevity and cellular health. But I just started taking these. I’ve always trusted Dr. Mercola’s products. I’m 50 years old and take good care of myself through a healthy diet and regular exercise. I’ve noticed lately that I’ve had a few moments of absent mindedness. I’m hoping this will help keep me more focused and sharp. I trust Dr. Mercola and I’ve never had any issues with his supplements. His products are quality products. I’m looking forward to the benefits of adding this to my supplements. The pills are small and easy to take. I will update with performance after some time of use.

UPDATE: I just learned of some quite dramatic changes going on with this company and its direction. I don't hold this against them, but the unshakeable faith I had in the quality of their products is no longer there with the ones going forward. Since they are all available from other excellent companies whose leadership, mission, and goals are continuing as they have for years and decades, I will be refilling my Dr. Mercola supplements with these other brands, at least until I can ascertain how their changes affect production. This bottle comes about 1/3 full, which is one of my pet peeves with most supplement companies. These capsules are a little bit smaller than normal and the bottle is already small. I would want 2-3 months' worth of capsules in it, if not a smaller bottle, but at the price, keeping one month's worth an option is good. If used as directed, this bottle will last one month. The expiration date on mine is Jan 2026, so a little over 1.5 years from now. The capsules have a very light scent and taste to them, and are easy to swallow with water. I like my supplement bottles to say organic, non-GMO, GMP-certified, 3rd-party tested, and Made in USA. This says This says none of those. The product page does say non-GMO. I look into the supplement companies I use because I've come across so many shady ones. I learned about the Dr. Mercola brand decades ago and have been learning more and more here and there. He is one I have no trust issues with when it comes to health. I seem to take longer than most to see results when starting a new supplement, but like the blend of ingredients here, that the capsules come in amber glass, and that I'm getting a quality supplement from an established manufacturer. I was a little surprised to see the silicon dioxide. I know most supplement companies say they need it, and I've seen compelling data on both sides, but the highest quality companies I know of will not use it or other common fillers. It is also a good antioxidant. Very good quality product. Price is unaffordable and there are other Fisetin products available for a much better price.

If you’re looking at this product, you probably know what apoptosis and autophagy are and have done your research into both supplements. I’ve been using both for a while and while results on this type of supplement are difficult to measure, I’ve been very healthy during the usage. The capsule size is fine – a concern frequently when buying a combination supplement. But is this really a combination? The spermidine dose is so low I thought it had to be a misprint. Other spermidine supplements have a wide range in amounts, but this is about 9% the size of the 2nd lowest. And at that high price? For a one month supply?

Once again I am reviewing a product supposedly created by a well known holistic person. And this one disappoints. I personally noticed no improvements asserted by this product in my overall health in the areas suggested by this supplement. I have not been impressed, overall, with this as well as other Dr. Mercola products in terms of efficacy-- *especially* at this product's high price point (which really is only a reflection of his famous name.... & his names licensing fees). I ahve experienced better results with lesser known brands. It's an ok supplement if you are looking for ok results, but the pricing is too high for my budget without the results I would expect from a big budget pricetag. Wouldn't recommend based on dollar value, especially as my results were marginal at best.
