This is the second time I have purchased these ice packs. They work perfectly when an ice pack is needed. I buy them by the case because we are a very active family with active friends. They come in very handy for muscle cramps, and those darn little injuries on the youngest ones! We have even used them to help cool us down in the very hot summer temps. Recommend!

They get REALLY cold. I use them for stress relief by applying them to my face (mammalian diving reflex, look it up) but they're a little too cold for my face. I don't deduct any stars for that because it seems absurd for me to fault a cold pack for getting...well...cold. I just put a thin towel between the pack and my face and it's all good.

Pros: -I used to get these for the school I worked at. They were great for the kids/staff who hurt themselves or just needed it. They're quick and easy to use, provide instant relief, great for the emergency backpacks, nurse's office, portable and good for off site field trips and just generally useful. -Comes with a good amount, but as you can imagine having this in a school, the restock added up. I believe I ordered a pack every 2-3 months or so. Cons: -Probably not the most environmentally friendly because it creates a lot of waste, but it was definitely more sanitary than using reusable ice packs. Uncertainties: -N/A

This will make you so cool that if you shared it with others that they would also start to be just as cool as you are. And with 15 to 30 minutes it’s not exactly a quickie so everyone should be happy with what they got. So if your just so hot that you finally need to cool down slap it and grab it and then put it where ever you want it to work for you. Doesn’t leak but might get sweaty. Ease to use and so happy that it’s flexible when I need it to be. Holds temperature like a bad date that never even tried to warm up to you from the start. Durable plastic that’s portable like the size of a triple XL maxi pad before you take it out of the wrapper but please don’t ask me how I know that since I thought it was an instant ice pack that wouldn’t activate no matter how hard I hit it on anything. Great product that is highly recommended for blue balls or any other type of sport related injuries.

I have been a nurse for more that 14 years. I have popped many an ice pack. I am now a school nurse so I bought these for the convenience of not having to walk all the way to the cafeteria every time a kid hurts themselves. Once they are popped, they are perfect. They stay cold for about 30 min and don't get all drippy like some others. The problem is about half of them are extremely difficult to pop. By the end of the year, I'm going to have very strong forearms.

Great got them for my kids school

I almost returned this box of instant cold packs. I couldn't figure out how to activate the bags but once I did it was easy every time. I had ordered an instant hot pack once before and really enjoyed the product so I wanted to try the instant cold. The instant hot packs all I had to do was shake and they heated up really good. The cold packs you have to grind any big salt chunks down you feel with your fingers inside the bag until you feel a burst of liquid flowing inside the ice pack. (weird science trick!) I did have problems with activating the cold pack so I looked it up on Utube and it is very easy. I can now easily tell the difference between the activated compress and when its not activated (Before its activated the bag feels like grinding sand and after it feels like a ice cold hand sized waterbed).
