The price is fabulous - got 2 filters for the price of one in the stores. The filters fit like a glove in our unit.

My purifier is the germguardian ac4900ca. Which needs filter b (flt4825) and this was my first time purchasing this brand (lifesupply usa) which they clearly state on here (amazon) that the filters are not affiliated with germguardian. They and my system has worked the same (quality etc) as the filter that came with my unit. I purchased from lifesupply in Aug.2019 and now it is Dec.29,2019 and I am about to buy my 2nd filter supply from them again. I saw comments about not fitting properly or being poor quality (the see thru black part of the filter) or that the black part of filter broke off when tried to clean it. The thing about most if not all those reviews is the fact that they and the rest of us-are using different systems or models and therefore different filter numbers. (Thus why i specifically stated what i have and bought from them). Now for my unit; the filter my unit CAME with the black part of the filter is NOT removable from the rest of the filter for cleaning....how it said and how i clean it is as a whole piece....aka i wipe down and vacuum the black side and wipe down the white side. Now onto this company lifesupply's version of my filter. Theirs was EXACTLY the same look sizing configuration and quality (of the black part of the filter) as the one that came in the box of my unit/purifier. Trust me i thoroughly compared too before i went ahead and loaded the lifesupply filter into unit. I wish i took pics to show u comparison but i didnt think about that at that time. I wasnt planning to write review but when I came here to buy more I decided to look at reviews (I didn't do that 1st time around)& I was surprised by the negative comments and the lack of details for their specific unit (listing the brand doesnt suffice as every brand carries varying models& filter needs). So I wanted to give a more thorough review for those who have my EXACT model (purifier)& looking for aid. I bought this brand since our unit is no longer sold filters and uv bulbs in stores and barely online outside of the germguardian brand itself which was too costly for me as I have two systems (same model) and after MUCH searching on amazon AND on google-this company seemed most promising to deliver worthy and correct item and best cost.

The filter does not reset the change filter alarm

These fit a bit snug, and work very well. I was impressed that they actually work better then the original air filters that arrived with the germ guardian. Each filter has the prefilter stuck on it which makes the prefilter hard to switch out as it rips easily when pulled off the velcro fastenings. Considering they remove more particles from the air than the original filters it is a minor negative though. these are very reasonably priced and quite a savings compared to the official filter replacements. it is just what I need and most importantly, you can extend the life of your filters by vaccuming them when they clog up. each one last about 3 weeks with vaccuming in my extremely dusty, cat-hair filled apartment. I have asthma and extensive airborne allergies so it's very important that the air filter works. Other cheaper air filter replacements I've tried to save money were not vacuum-able and these are.

As far as I can tell it does the job. It doesn't reset the change filter light though.
