Amazing Quality
For the price of £27 at the time of this review I am honestly blown away by the quality of this backpack. It is very well made, thick cotton/canvas type material is used. There are 2 side pockets - 1 each side - also there is a front pocket, and a small pocket for a phone at the rear/side of the bag, also you get a zip up pouch just inside the top of the backpack. The straps are non functioning but are used via a magnet system which hold really well. There is a thick cotton cord with a leather buckle to open the main compartment and at the bottom of the backpack is a folding hard piece which sits nicely. I got this to keep my books and notebooks with me at all times, amazing quality at an amazing price, it feels and looks like a backpack that should be a lot more than the £27 I paid for it. Highly recommend this backpack.

Great bag, on the small side, but does the job. Is not waterproof
I got this bag because my 20 year old jansport finally kicked the bucket and I spent weeks shopping for replacement(s). I say replacements because I'm at drama school and what I need to take with me varies wildly from day to day, so I have a giant 45L bag with waist straps for days when I need to carry a lot of stuff like for dance classes and this one for normal days. The thing that drove me nuts about all the other bags was that because I'm on the go a lot - I read my scripts and charge my phone on my commute, and i need quick access to umbrellas, hand sanitiser and door passes - the lack of outside pockets on most bags did my head in and then carting stuff around rehearsal rooms also drove me nuts having to piss around with zips and my stuff just exploding all over the floor, this bag has so many benefits for me and makes my incredibly busy and active life much easlier. This how I have my bag set up and what I can fit in it: The side pockets are zippered and far too small to carry a water bottle. On one side, I have my charging brick, cable and plug, the other side is my umbrella. Front pocket I keep sanitiser, masks, tissues, train/building passes, cbd oil and eye drops. On the inside there is a padded back flap where you can store a laptop and it has an elasticated velcro strap to hold it in place. I've only carried a 14inch macbook pro in once and it was comfy enenough. I rarely use this pocket though I'm sure it'll come in handy in the future. In the main body of the bag there are two internal pockets. one is zippered, one is velcro closure and the 2 are small are sort of flappy pockets. I keep my pencil case and glasses in the velcro closure and don't really use the others for anything because the fabric is a bit more flimsy and anything bulky in the side just gets in the way for me. There's also a small zippered canvas flap at the top of the bag I keep my cork ball (myofascial release) and my bank card in, and I clip my keys to the zip with a carabiner. In the main compartment I fit a tall skinny 1l water bottle, a 600ml thermos mug, an 15 plastic zippy wallet with my notebook and scripts. Fitting a lunchbag in here is a bit of a struggle but it's doable. If I need to have character shoes with me that day I'll either carry the lunchbag in my hand with the shoes inside the bag if it's raining, or if it's dry I'll buckle my shoe straps to the buckles on the bag and look like a weirdo flapping down the street. I can usually also take my ultralight down coat and scarf off, drape them over the top of the bag and secure them down with the flap of the bag because even though they're magnetic clasps instead of actual buckles they're pretty strong and I don't worry about them popping open. The one major downside of this bag is that it is not even remotely waterproof. I sprayed it with tech wash and also rubbed a ton of barbour wax into the fabric and my stuff still got drenched, so I've had to buy a waterproof shell to put over it if it rains - because anything that falls on an umbrella just drips straight down and soaks the bag which isn't great when your charging brick is in there. The straps aren't very padded but they're comfy enough, the drawstring thingy is decent too. It's lasted a month of daily abuse and is in good nick so far, so no complaints.

Alright
Its alright, smaller than you'd think. You get what you pay for and for the price it's not to bad

Good quality, comfortable, well designed and stylish
What this rucksack isn't: It's NOT a high load, expedition rucksack. What it is: A very good and good looking daysack. I would happily recommend for work, college, university, school and recreational use. The outer is a very stylish, canvas material with leather detail. It looks traditional and retro! Zips are robust metal and are likely to give good service. The main compartment flap closures are magnetic, the buckles are ornamental. Inside are a number of good sized and well designed pockets. The pocket at the top of the compartment is ideal for small items ie keys, coins and sweets. The main compartment is surprisingly big. The largest single item it will take is a lever-arch file (see images) but it will close. The laptop sleeve will take modern laptops easily. For a test I used an ancient HP Pavillion and even that fitted easily. There is a smaller sleeve opposite which will take a C-format novel or a large tablet easily. The outer pockets are ideal for smaller items like food, first aid kits etc but are not going to take water bottles. The pocket on the back, is small, about the size of a DL envelope. It's about business card deep. The shoulder straps are basic but so long as you don't carry too much weight, they will be comfortable and entirely suitable. As a test, I took the pack for a 5-mile hike with my standard day-load (see image) including water bottle, jacket, snacks etc. Worked well and was very comfortable. See images and any questions, please feel free to ask.

The quality is everything and it’s so beautiful but….
Its honestly worth every penny. It looks so beautiful up close compared to the picture. I feel so arty and outdoorsy carrying it and i love that it has this vintage look. The material feels like my most expensive pair of jeans and it’s also so comfortable. There are also so many pockets which I love. The only problem I have is that it’s kinda small. It doesn’t matter much to me because I don’t need much to carry at school but if ever I need to pack a lot or I need to carry a book bigger than an A4, I’d have to use a different bag.

A great little rucksack for a day walk.
A lovely little rucksack for a day out walking. It's light to carry yet because of the canvas material that it is made from, I would imagine that it will be hardwearing. It is well stitched all over and as with my previous rucksack very easy to sow up if it get damaged. It is spacious enough inside to fit my camera and a spare lens, plus a water bottle, some bits of food, a baseball cap, sunglasses and a pack-a-jacket incase it rains (this is England!! haha). A few other essential bits and bobs like suncream, plasters, medi wipes, also all fit nicely in the long front zip-up pocket. If I have one slight gripe about it, it would be that the two side pockets and the 'hidden' back pocket are smaller than expected. In the picture it shows someone walking with a water bottle in a side pocket but on mine it is too tight to get a bottle in. Instead I have put my firesteel and fire kit in one and my Leatherman Multi-tool in the other. The rear pocket is empty at the moment. I tried keys in it but because it was against my back this proved too uncomfortable. It is only suited for something small and soft like a handy pack of tissues etc. I'm sure I will find a use for it. Also it is not a complaint but I would like to point out that I ordered a Brown bag, however the rucksack that I received is clearly labelled Green although, in daylight, it is a very cool darkish khaki. In summary I am very happy with my rucksack, it was just about the right price and despite the small side pockets ticks all the boxes . We have been on a couple of adventures together already and it performed very well.

Great quality
Still a great looking functionally sound bag after 4 years. Holidays, picnics, carrying the whole families full metal drinks bottles on a day out, stuffed to the brim with the leaves sticks and conkers or shells stones and driftwood the kids pick up on a walk its held up to alot of use. Still going strong.

Tiny
I knew this was going to be on the small side but I didn’t realise it would be as small as it is. I bought it based on the picture of the man holding in on his shoulder. I’ve sent it back because it is tiny. It’s a nice bag, has lots of (small) pockets and it looks good but it’s not particularly useful.

Pratico e carino
