Geekworm X1202-C1 Metal Case for Raspberry Pi 5 and X1202 UPS

Works well with GeekWorks boards and build layouts while still being flexible enough to allow other maker boards and shields. The openings for the power module does not work with just any power module and realy should be Geekworm's X1202 5v UPS expansion module. The only criticism is the main cover plate could use a couple of creases to stiffen the thin sheet metal but overall a 5 ⭐ product. I especially appreciate the two cross cutouts on the bottom for mounting the case. Being built out of powder coated steel sheet metal makes this a durable structure and a great vale at this price. Assembly is simple and needs no instruction. Fit as I said is designed for the specific power module so keep that in mind.

Great box. Solid design. Fits perfectly. Great if you use external wifi or Bluetooth.

Okay this looks cool when you see it. It is segmented into many parts and it is very annoying. The case has an option for a lower UPS that uses batteries that are specific and NOT included. Specifically the type that do not have a bottom on top. It also offers a hat that can be one or two NvME slots, then it has a momentary additional pushbutton that is difficult to find on their site. It would be much better in kits that have the parts you need and then separately the items that could be changed or added at a later time. Overall this is not a product I would recommend nor will I use again. I can find a use, but it was a very poor experience.

I'am very disappointed by Geekworm Store. I received this item. it seems to be used. The pads are already applied. The box closing screws are already screwed in. It miss all the brass spacers and I can't install X1202 5V UPS.

Looks and fits nice. Came with the necessary hardware. Some improvements; it makes the SD card impossible to remove. It's more of a pi5 issue as the SD card slot doesn't pop out. Now it's flush with the case and the entire thing will have to be disassembled to remove the SD card. The cover is not on the same side as the batteries. This means should you ever have to replace the batteries, once again completely disassemble. Though the ad is clear, it doesn't include the $2 case switch. It should be included since the gaping hole has already been cut. If not, leave it like an electrical box where we can remove it if we want the switch.
