I got this as a replacement for a smaller clock that had a number flickering out. I have to say it's a "Five Star" product, but you need to know what you're getting into: 1) IT ONLY DOES ALL-WHITE OR RAINBOW EFFECTS OUT OF THE BOX. If you press the "Display Colors" button, you'll have your choice of all-white, or several different color-shifting effects. If you want to keep a particular color, you have to press the "Freeze" button. This will hold whatever color/pattern you're currently looking at. 2) THE THERMOMETER IS NOT TOTALLY ACCURATE/VERY FINICKY When I got the clock, it was stuck at 82°F and did not change. I discovered through other reviews that the thermometer is a little flaky, but can be tricked into working. Someone suggested putting the clock in the refrigerator for 10 minutes, then setting it up again. For me, the process took several hours, but eventually it began to read much closer to the room temperature, and it's been working fine ever since. It's a few °F off, but it is reasonably close. Good enough to tell how well the AC is working. 3) IT'S NOT TECHNICALLY "AUTO DST" Minor gripe, but DST doesn't work automatically, it's a toggle with the remote control. It will add/subtract the hour with a single button press, which is still MUCH easier than resetting the time manually. Everything else about the clock is great. It can mount on a wall, or sit on a table. Numbers are LARGE and bright. Alarm sound can be adjusted from "light sleeper" to "BLARINGLY LOUD." It has a manual or auto dimmer (your choice), as well as a backlight function. Now that you know how to tame it, GET IT.

I LOVE THIS CLOCK... you can have this clock continually color change, and there are several options of colors to display. You can also have it. You speak plain white. It also can be backlit hung on the wall it's perfect to tell you the date the time the second the day you can change it to a Christmas color theme Halloween theme. I can't love it enough

Love this!!! Excellent clock and calendar with a room temperature reading. Beautiful to look at the soothing color cycling. It was easy to set up. I love the soft ambient night light at the back of the clock! I got this for my elderly father who sometimes wakes up a little disoriented after a nap.. now he has a night light and large fun digital data of date and time to find himself in the flow of the day. I want to get another on for the living room for me!

Honestly this is the coolest digital clock I've ever had. Very bright, has different light styles to choose from, and very high quality! Keeps the time, date, days of the week, and second counter visible. The display is large enough to see from afar. I've bought 2 of these so far and I'm very happy with both

Very fun and colorful! I like that it has the temperature, but know that’s the inside temperature of the room. It is easily seen across a large room. It can be plugged in or powered by battery. We have a battery and plug it in and that has saved us from several power outages! However, I’ve noticed that it has become 1-2min short on time. My daughter just loves this clock.

The best click ever! Had it all set up without having read the instructions in under 4 minutes

Love these clocks, especially like the fact that even when the electric goes out, they reset to the exact time and date when the electric turns back on.
