These clear non-slip stair treads were exactly what I needed for my elderly mother’s house. I wanted to add extra safety to the stairs without covering the natural wood look, and these were a perfect solution. They blend in really well, are barely noticeable, and still let the stairs look clean and nice. The adhesive has held securely, and they give added grip and peace of mind when going up and down the stairs. Installation was simple, and the clear design keeps everything looking neat instead of bulky or obvious like some other options. They also are clear (a bit cloudy at the beginning until you step on them, then they’re almost invisible!!) I took this pic right after applying! If you want a safer staircase without ruining the appearance of your stairs, I’d definitely recommend these. Great for homes with seniors, kids, or pets too.

Stuck great to our tile stairs. Both my husband and daughter have slipped on the stairs and we’ve only lived in our new house for 6 months so it was overdue. Very easy to apply. We cleaned the stairs first with an all purpose cleaner and vacuumed. The roller that came with worked well, about half way through the one pin came out of the side and I had to put it back in like 3 times, but then it stopped and worked fine again. So far so good with socks! Also barefoot the texture is not too pokey, just grippy. You can barely see them in some light. Size was great for our stairs.

Purchased these clear treads to prevent slipping on stair steps after having my hardwoods refinished. They’ve held up great after 5 months of high traffic, even with wet boots! The clear “color” gives safety without detracting from the essence of the hardwood. The material is strong and the stickiness holds up perfectly. No sliding or crinkling after 5 months of use! Easy to install, I did it myself!

One strip had a visible flaw and the pins repeatedly fell out of the roller otherwise I would have given 5 stars. Start on a less noticeable step because you'll get better as you go. If you're working on open steps where the roller pins can fall and bounce away plan for that maybe with a blanket down to catch them. You can reposition the strip when it goes down crooked. I can see the strips on my cherry wood steps but it doesn't look bad and it's better than slipping and falling.

I purchased these for my older dog who had started having trouble getting traction on our stairs, and I’m so glad I did. The difference was immediate—no more slipping or hesitation. Simple solution, huge impact!

My existing finished wood stairs between 1st and 2nd floor was slippery due to the polyurethane finish and narrow stair tread depth of 8.5" x 30".. As a result, my 4 year old slipped and fell off flight of stairs. I wanted a product that will adhere to my existing finished wooden stairs and not get dirty like carpet stair treads. Installation was easy, it took 15 minutes to install this for 10 stair treads. These clear stair treads were installed 2 months ago and are holding up well and are still adhered to my wooden steps. We have mopped over these treads and they have not peeled off. Excellent product.

Love these, wayyy better than the black asphalt tape I had on them before! I haven't slipped on my stairs since putting them on. Also, I recently had to replace one (through no fault of the product) and wanted to show how they actually do disappear after they settle. I was a tiny bit unhappy at first that they weren't completely invisible, but as you can see, they do just about disappear over time. The top tread was just placed, and the bottom one has been there for a few months. It was quite simple to remove the one I had to, with no residue to remove, but it had a TON of grip and they have never lifted around the edges or seemed like they will peel off on their own. Very happy overall!

We had to add these to our back patio stairs for our sweet old dog. They work perfectly. so easy to install, size was perfect and most importantly keeps our dog safe. So far they have held up with no issues. We live in Ohio so lots of rain lately and they haven’t budged.

Great product (so far). Simple easy instructions to install. I used used a measuring tape and pencil to find and mark the center point on each step and strip (since the strips were 32" x 4" and te steps are wider). I particularly liked the little red tab fixed on the end of each strip (in the roll), made it easier to pull out the backing. Good adhesion which allows you to remove and re-fix if placed crooked or to take out air bubbles. It is almost invisible (which was desired) on indoor stairs. I feel it has the right amount of (non-slip) grip - especially bare feet or sock feet. Durability (indoors) is yet to be determined. Shall update review after a few months. I do not recommend using this on outdoor stairs. Don't know how it would hold out in inclement weather.

This product 100% does its job of not allowing for a slip on the stairs! Very effective (I used indoors on wooden stairs). However, I put one down a little crooked and hadn’t even pressed it down yet, sand I tried to lift it to reposition it, and it took the finish right off my stair. -_-

Easy to install, stay in place, almost invisible. Much better solution for my home than carpet tiles were. They don't collect pet hair like the carpet does and they are easy to clean. Highly recommend.

Installed these on laminate flooring stairs and they provide significantly more grip, especially when wearing socks. Easy installation, no issues with the included roller. Make sure you clean the treads with rubbing alcohol first. The strips have a slightly "frosted" appearance and are noticeable but not very obtrusive - I don't think it can be helped. This kit is a good value as it includes 18 strips at a competitive price. 2025-09 Update: grips still fully adhered with no discolouration or dirt build up. Would recommend

Applied to a deck with wooden stairs. Coming off, can't be fixed. Don't waste your money with any stick on product, buy something you screw down.
