BlessedMart Russian Orthodox Wall Cross - Three Bar Wooden Byzantine Crucifix for Prayer Corner Hanging - 8 Inch

This is a very nice Russian-style Orthodox cross. It measures 7 7/8" x 4 3/4", so it is a nice size for smaller spaces. The design is very attractive, with many classic iconographic elements, including the tools of torment, and blood dripping onto the skull beneath the cross. The figure of Christ is rather small relative to the cross -- only 3" high on a cross that is nearly 8".It is well done for the price and should hold up indefinitely, hanging on a wall.

Light wood and will be easy to hang up, I love the details and the gold outline. Very beautiful and great for new Orthodox Christians who are looking for something that will be small but big enough.

Very beautiful and Good quality

For some reason, I thought it would be bigger, but this is actually the perfect size for where I have it right now. I'm thinking of ordering another one to have purely devoted for a section that will be my shrine. I had a look at a couple of reviews for this cross before buying it because I got curious, and I took note of what a couple of people had said about the top of the cross where you would have it hang; I took note of the material there, and have taken precautions of having my cross hanging in a unique setup. It's nicely secure, so there's no worries. The detail of the design is so beautiful that I do find myself amazed by it. It doesn't look cheap, and it will serve its purpose of being part of your shrine, or just to have it hanging somewhere in your room or home. I don't think you can put a price on something like this, as I think this is worth every penny. If you are in need of a cross to decorate your home or for a section of your shrine, I'd recommend this without a doubt.

Beautiful just perfect

Decent enough, but we much prefer our other handmade crosses. This looks a bit too mass produced, and if I did it again I’d have skipped this and saved for a nicer one from a true craftsman. In fact, this did inspire me to make my own! I’m hardly a craftsman myself, but a couple YouTube tutorials and I created one I’m actually proud of! We still display this one in our cabin, but will probably give it away to a catechumen that needs one and is on a budget. My advice? Splurge a little on something hand crafted if you’re not capable of making your own. There are actual Orthodox craftsmen out there and you’d be supporting your brethren keeping tradition alive by working with their hands. I’m not trying to speak poorly of this cross, as I do respect the company selling them, but I want to be honest in my review.
