🔒🚤 The Best Boat Tie-Downs You’ll Ever Use! ⚓️💯
These BoatBuckle G2 Retractable Transom Tie-Downs are a total game changer. I’ve tried a bunch of tie-downs over the years, and nothing comes close to how easy, clean, and secure these feel. The retractable design means no more tangled mess or loose straps flying around—just click, tighten, and done. Super smooth every time! 🎯 The stainless steel build is solid and made to last, even in saltwater conditions. I’ve used these on several trips already and they’re still holding strong, no rust, no issues. Plus, they look sleek and professional mounted on the trailer—no more ugly old straps. 😎🛠️ Installation took just minutes, and I honestly wish I had picked these up sooner. If you care about your boat and don’t want to deal with strap headaches ever again, these are it. Trust me—buy once, cry never. 💪🚀

Just what I needed.
These BoatBuckle G2 Transom tie downs were exactly what I needed. The correct size, easy to mount and work great. Excellent quality. These couldn't have been easier to install. Love them.

Great buy. I recommend.
Glad i bought the $3-4 dollar add on brackets to give that extra inch or two from the tail light for my fat fingers. They are extremely easy to put on, and use. Pull, hook, crank once or tight til snug. Easy release! Well worth the money I paid. Took maybe, 5 min per side with a crescent wrench and a socket. I bolted the bracket to the buckle, then mounted to boat frame. One has a Nylon lock nut, and the other has a lock bolt for the frame side, so, i dont think it will be coming lose any time soon. I recommend. Oh, I have a T-18 Tahoe ski boat from bass pro shop with standard trailer. I bought because the straps that came with the trailer, my kid unwound the strap, and could not figure out how to rethread it back in the buckle. lol

G2 ratchet straps are the real deal.
I ordered the SS model...very pleased with quality & easy installation. I used the silicone grease supplied and had no issues with bolts & nuts. I waited for years using the old flip buckle straps...I recommend these ratchet straps highly.

Works well!
Replaced the separate strap with these attached tie downs. So much easier and faster to use than the strap across the back of the boat. Sturdy and durable. Little trouble putting on the trailer but likely due to the trailer configuration and not the tie downs fault.

Straps are fantastic, bolts and nuts are terrible!
I would have given these 5 stars any day of the week, but I ran into the same bolt/nut problem that has been brought up in other reviews. The mounting hardware is a large stainless bolt and nut, and while they look new and ok to use, the threads bind heavily and will sieze up on you about 1/2 way tight. In anticipiation of this happening (based on reading other reviews before I bought these tie-downs), I liberally coated the threads of the bolts and nuts with grease (I stole some off the zirk fittings off the boat motor). Even with this, I had one heck of a time getting these tightened down. I had to install the nut about 1/3 of the way, completely back it off, clean off all the shavings and grease, apply new grease, thread the nuts on 1/2 way this time, remove, clean, re-grease, then tighten all the way the 3rd time. And the 3rd time was still quite tough. I question if I will ever get the bolts off again if I needed to. Each buckle mounts with one bolt and one nut. The straps (not including the mounting hardware) are awesome. They are easy to use, lock the boat solidly in place, and ratchet down just as fast as any other ratchet strap. The strap material looks like seat belts and is very tough. The only thing I may do is add some sort of abrasive cover where the strap goes around a 90 degree corner and I am a bit concerned about long term chaffing of the strap. For what these cost, I want them to last a life time (and they are stainless afterall, so they should last forever). These straps are worth the extra money and are leaps and bounds better than using old school ratcheting straps to hold your boat in place. Don't bother buying the $9.99 2-pack specials that break after 2 years and get all tangled up (or lost). These boatbuckles stay mounted to the trailer and you'll never have to hunt for them. They also speed up launch and retrevial times significantly (and if you use a "busy" launch site, then speed is of the essence so you don't end up as a youtube video of the guy who can't seem to launch a boat). Again, the straps themselves are fantastic, but the bolts are a nightmare. As a previous commenter suggested, BUY YOUR OWN! I don't even recommend the grease method I tried.
